"being ‘me’" is weird. I'm sure it could be changed into something better sounding w/o changing the meaning.

Even with my basic japanese knowledge I could say that "kimi wo suki ni na boku" means "Me who loves you" so I am pretty sure teth's translation is good :) The song doesn't really need to be a ballad, it could be something like HONEY ^^

the last line, its asking direct question..
Like,

"So just in that manner, is okay if I stay as the me who loves you, always?"

This doesn't sound like a ballad to me. I mean the only evidence we have that it is a ballad is the comment Ayu made about it being "from God". Things sound weird when they are translated. Maybe she just loves the song so much. The lyrics seem kinda happy-lovish to me.

Plus, ayu has several songs ("appears", "HONEY", and "fairyland" come to mind especially) that lyrically sound like they could be ballads, but they're not. So lyrics tell us very little, lol ^^

My guesses is that it has kind of a sweeping melody with some optimistic longing behind it, but it's a ballad or mid-tempo ballad.
And the chorus might be kinda repetitive, like "No way to say"'s is.

However in same site, they say "It is rivialing Heaven"
and someone even said "a worse version of Carols." LOL.
And someone says it matches Close to You...
I think its most definitely a slow ballad...

And the thing about My all..
Some guys said that ayu always says there's a good song, so maybe we are just expecting too much.
And the response was "yeah I thought it would be in the same grouping like My All, but..."

So yeah, I'd say it's definitely a ballad then. :P If we knew who arranged it, we'd probably have a better idea of the overall sound. Sounds from the comments like perhaps one of HAL's less "wah!" arrangements though.

I'm seeing similarities to No way to say with these descriptions but why didn't anyone mention No way to say on the site? Lol. I think I should like it because all signs point to the type of winter ballad I was hoping for!

It does sound like it's probably similar to "No way to say", I was having that exact thought.
