The first day of Acid Black Cherry's free live series "ABC Dream CUP 2015 LOVE" was held on July 11th at a special event space outside Centrair Shimano in Aichi.

In the 34℃ (93.2F) heat, over 4,000 stood in line early to enter the hospitality area of the venue which opened at 10:30 am. Including the free area, there was a total of about 250,000 people in attendance. yasu excited the fans with his aggressive rock numbers, as well as his popular ballads. Many fans raised their hands when he asked, "Raise your hands if today's free live is the first time that you're seeing ABC."

Acid Black Cherry will continue to hold free lives on July 25th in Chiba and August 1st in Osaka.

Acid Black Cherry celebrates their 8th debut anniversary in 2015. Just like the World Cup, ABC holds a thank you concert series for their fans every four years called “ABC Dream CUP 2015 LOVE”. Round 1 will be held in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka. The free concert series that expects to bring in 80,000 will start at Centrair Outdoor special venue in Aichi.

Heavy rains from a typhoon threatened the free concert up until two to three days before the event. However, the day of the concert was miraculously sunny at 34ºC. 4000 people lined up at the hospitality area that opened at 10:30 am.

Acid Black Cherry excited the crowd with aggressive rock songs as well as hit ballads.

Yasu said, “Raise your hand if this is your first time seeing ABC.” Many people responded by raising their hands. 25,000 people ended up gathering in the free area on this day.

There are two more of these free concerts that will be held at Makuhari Maihama Park special venue in Chiba on July 25 and at Maishimi ABC special venue in Osaka on August 1.

I really love those free lives. It's such a great way to say thank you to your fans. I wish I could be there!

I was told by a friend that people are actually selling tickets to ABC Dream CUP 2015 LOVE in the black market which's so unfair as by right , it's a FREE LIVE

I had no idea it's real difficult to get tickets to ABC's tours . I guess this explains why yasu is doing yet another tour , with bigger venues in an arena setting as I heard most of the venues he did for the L hall tour were almost all if not completely sold out :O

I'm not surprised that it was hard to get a ticket for his hall tour. I mean he's selling VERY well atm especially compared to most other artists. I think he did this hall tour just because he likes performing in small venues and not because they were scared he couldn't fill an arena tour.

Not only that , I think there's also the uncertainty of what might happen after he finished his hall tour especially since in 2 years time , it will be 10 years since Janne Da Arc last went on hiatus

At least for him to do a new Arena tour , it somewhat prolong matters . I'm curious to find out what he plans to do after that & it's quite mind boggling Janne Da Arc has been on hiatus for so long o_O

I was very sad back then when Janne Da Arc went on hiatus. I listened to them a lot when I was a teenager. But I also really love ABC and I would be also sad when yasu would end his solo project. But as long as he makes music I will be happy.
Since Janne Da Arc is on hiatus for so long I could imagine them either never coming back or that yasu will go the hyde route and continue with Janne Da Arc but also with ABC.
