RnRC Limited Box Set back in stock for limited time!
I apologize if someone already mentioned this but if they did I could no find it anywhere, and rather than bury this in a thread with hundreds of posts, I figured making a new one would let more people have a chance.
I got a notification email from Play-Asia this morning saying they have limited quantities available of the Rock'n'Roll Circus Limited Box set available! It's $117.90 USD. They can't have many left right? Maybe they found some extra or some people returned it? Anyway here is the link: http://www.play-asia.com/SOap-23-83-...j-70-3rec.html P.S. It's my affiliate link but the item is same price whether you use my link or not. :) I just hope this helps someone out who really wanted the box and missed out. |
it seems to be the same as at mu-mo, without photobook and non-fp cd+dvd album
|
play asia is pretty awesome. I use the site for gaming stuff. It's neat they have that on there!
|
now its back , now that ive spend my money on the Album and Tour separated
|
People everywhere who bought things seperately are all going '...oh crap' lol
Well people who bought things seperately have an advantage since it was first press and with the photobook. I wonder if some people will buy the boxset now that it's out again... |
Wow! I won't buy it but this is cool!! Thanks for sharing! (^_^)

iif im able to i will give my other copy of the album to my niece |
I would buy this if I had the money for it but I don't at this time and I doubt I'll have it before it sells out. I would love to have the set but I'm fine just having the first press album and buying the DVD set.
|
does it come with the two posters like the first batch of them did?
|
^
That's one down side, Play-Asia never included a poster, even with the 1st press (I know because I bought my box from them as a pre-order). Luckily I got the poster from the CD+DVD I bought from CDJ. I'm sure most of us here already have the album and/or DVD, but I know some people were bummed about not getting the special box (the mug and tea is really cool after all) so figured maybe at least one person here would be excited to have another chance. |
Thanks for sharing! This makes me seriously consider getting one now.
|
yeah they do this when I'm not excited anymore about getting it
|
get it while supplies last!
|
uhm.. I'm tempted to buy it. But I don't want another CD+DVD copy D:

After, now maybe this one isn't, but I trust no one in this forum with no real sources :rolleyes |
WOW Nanakopy87, way to hi-jack my affiliate link and take the credit yourself. I'm not gonna hold any grudge here but I do think that was a little bit rude. You should at least disclose what you did. I at least mentioned it in my initial post.

Anyway yeah I have mentioned this doesn't come with the poster, but neither did the first press one they sold in the beginning, which is kinda weird. The photobook, I'm unsure about that one. |
knowing that the cups and painting contain lead ( a dangerous toxic poison ) ayu or not ayu i will stay away from it
here is the link for those who would like more informations : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lead_poisoning i dont think they found more since it was a limited press and each online store had a limited quatity . all those are returns . some countries dont even allow you to import those kind of stuff so i m not surprise to hear they got so many returns even yesasia is selling it again |

are you sure of that? EDIT: and is not available at yesasia http://www.yesasia.com/global/rocknr...0-en/info.html |

LOL people have been drinking out of lead glassware for many many many years. Furthermore, I've worked in a winery for the last 6+ years, and most stemware also has a small percentage of lead in it. Here in California we're required to have a sign posted that says lead can cause bodily harm, but most states in USA don't have to even warn people. The point though, is that it's minimal. While you would not want to let liquid sit in the glass for hours and hours... in the normal case of getting a glass of something and drinking it in a reasonable amount of time, you should be 100% fine and it's really a non-issue. |
^True. But I want to know if it is true that they found lead in these cups, etc?
where did gothicayu get the info from? why haven't we all been told if it is true? those are a bit serious accusations if you ask me lol |
Yeah, I agree with SURREAL_RAINBOW that this is pretty strong accusation.
And personally I don't think these are returns. Since mu-mo also has the special limited box back in stock for a while, it is possible that Play Asia gets a number of boxes from mu-mo? |
I doubt any company uses lead in consumer products anymore, especially when the health risks are pretty well known now?
Anyway, it says there's only one left. :O |
although the price is a bit lower than the first batch, I don't want to buy it. firstly, all the hype i originally had in buying it when it was brand new and the songs were unheard, and the tour was unseen (dvd version), and the videos were unwatched, and blah blah blah has depleted in me. It would have been really cool to own the box set, but now that it's settled down and she's already worrying about her next album, I kind of feel "meh..." towards it. besides the play asia box set doesn't come with the posters or the photobook. That doesn't really bother me, but if I am going to go spend a lot of money at once on something, I want to get the biggest bang for my buck, and that means, getting every fixing my money deserves lol.
So...thanks but no thanks. |

there was a member who had a big issue over this(i can't remember who), the custom found that it contain lead. he or she was given the choice of letting the custom DESTROY the mug or let the box set to be ship back. in the end, he made the option of returning it. |
either way im keeping the mug :rolleyes
|
Destroy it?! That is SO beyond ridiculous! People act like if they're gonna touch the mug it's gonna kill them. Get real!
Here in the U.S. we still have PLENTY of leaded glassware, like I mentioned before mainly in stemware and you'll see it a lot at wineries... and we are doing just fine. Sure you may not want to constantly drink out of them and let your beverages sit in them for hours on end, but casual normal usage here and there is not gonna hurt you. lol talk about making a mountain out of a molehill... EDIT: Also, as Earth_maiden mentioned below, it is a collectible mug and really isn't meant for every day usage anyway. I did the same thing, used it a couple times then cleaned it and displayed it with my other Ayu stuff. No harm there. :) Quote:
|
I don't think many members here would use them for drinking, they would probably just sit in the box or on their shelves as a collectible. I used mine once but I preferred my other mug more, so I washed it and put it back on my shelf. XD

NO LEAD, IS NOT TRUE
I received this response Email from CDJapan: Hello Thank you for your mail and we apologize for our late response. We have made an inquiry to AVEX and it took a little time for them to investigate this issue. We just received a report from AVEX officially confirming that no lead was detected from the dissolution test. They have also given us a proof of the test results. So there is no need to worry about lead anymore. Sincerely, Mana Miyamoto www.cdjapan.co.jp ======================================= You guys are free to buy or keep the cup!!! :D I blame the people that started this gossip... you guys shouldn't even DARE stating something without having back up. |
I really doubted the lead thing, because you'd think that would've been made a bigger deal.... Thanks for helping to put the rumour to rest, Surreal. :yes
|
LOL thanks S_R :)
I didn't see what the big deal was anyway, but it's nice to know. :) |

I DON'T LIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank you very much....(>_<) i will never ever accuse anything without proof. Everyone feel so sad for her as she have to give up her box set, go read it, and tell me if i'm lying. http://www.ahsforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=100521 |
Gosh... okay :rolleyes
It seems that the Mexican authorities weren't interested in letting the tea or the ceramic into the country at any cost. Is their law, etc. The "lead" thing doesn't seem very accurate, she said "the thing is that ceramic items contains "Lead" so if I'm ordering ceramics I have to ask the permission. Is a health department thingy." Is not referring to the RnRC mug particularly. I never said you lied, but you guys just assumed the mug contains lead because they wouldn't let in in a country a certain type of item or material. Every country has their own laws of what to bring in or not. She didn't say the Mexican authorities stopped her parcel because the RnRC mug had lead, she only said that they wouldn't allow ceramics which might contain lead, as well as not. |
^ exactly
|
3 cheers. there's no lead in the cups, I'm going to drink out of them like there's no tomorrow.
|
If I had one of those mugs, I'd toast to this. XD
