I didn't know how to check Oricon back when Duty was released, but judging from it's sales, assume it did too I guess.

A Ballads was too soft and people don't like soft music...gosh how I love CAROLS...

erm why didn't u guys compared utada singale collection vol. 1 sales with my story? i'm sure ayu can beat utada sales....can she? utada had the highest grossing sale of 2 million this yr n become pretty pony~pretty pony~pretty pony~ no 1 female artisit who got all her 4 album to be rated no.1...

Yeah, I don't think It'll reach 1mil in one week, prahaps two weeks This is great news though, that's a lot so far.

Actually, if you look at Ayu's ORIGINAL consecutive album sales, Ayu crushes Hikaru Utada - all Of Ayu's original albums have reached number 1 (A Song for ××, LOVEppears, Duty, A BEST, I am..., RAINBOW, A BALLADS, Memorial address - that's 8!!!!!!) However, ayu's second album is ayu-mi-x, which didn't make it to number 1 (of course, a remix album) so Ayu is already out of the picture of consecutive albums.

i think pre order means the amount of cds that shops ordered. so there are 1 million cds in the shops now for people to buy
