Cambodian (Khmer) cover of Ayu's Startin'
 

My boyfriend actually found this. I thought it was kind of funny that she covered one of Ayu's songs. :P

My reaction is just like...

"What?"

It's kind of really bad, haha.

I am Cambodian, but I feel shamed that she sings kind of weird ...

Most of the Cambodian females sing pretty badly, lol. They all pretty much sound the same to me. I just thought it was interesting haha

wow...that is so bad...
the music is dull, the vocal is too pop and soft for this kind of rock song...
after watch that...i really appreciate ayu startin' so much...the way she sings, the way she perform it...and the way she arrange it...

but i love the stage and the lighting...i don't know that cambodia has been growing so fast in term of stage and lighting...good job...

Ooooh... I feel bad saying this, but I think that she could have done a lot better... I just listened to this cover and Ayu singing it and I was shocked at how much Ayu leaves her impression in a song... It's that "Ayu-ness" of her songs that really makes them her songs (if that makes sense :laugh) Usually covers lose the Ayu-ness, so I appreciate the real song so much more after I hear a cover :yes

Wow that completely lacked all of the energy that song is so full of 0__0 Interesting to see other people cover her songs though.

I don't know if it's the language, but the vocals could be a little stronger, at least in the chorus. And the choreography was a little...basic? It all just lacks energy and when I think of Startin' I think loads of fun energy and powerful vocals in the chorus; this didn't really have that.

Well it was a cool find I think...
