Wow! That Ninki rate is so interesting. You Were.../BALLAD sold more than Sunrise/Sunset ~LOVE is ALL~. Sunrise did have amazing digital sales though.

So basically, Ninki doesn't say everything about physical sales XD

The NINKI ratings are the results of a poll conducted by Oricon indicating interest in an upcoming release. Although the ratings are never a true reflection of sales, it does give a strong prediction about where the single/album will place in terms of popularity amongst the Japanese public. having said so, they are NOT an indication of how it will perform in terms of chart positioning and total sales for the week.

As it has been said so many, many times, NINKI does not predict sales (digital nor physical). It just shows how many of the people who entered the poll were interested in a release :yes

Koshi Inaba's Single "Okay" which was released this year 6/23 had NINKI 160, and his sales for the first week were 102k. I wonder how that will for with Ayu X_x

With no relation to NINKI I estimate that the single's total sales will be around 80,000.
Considering it has like ZERO TV/magazine promotion and it's mainly promoted to the fanbase besides the PV and the 15 seconds TV-CM (and well the CM tie-ins which probably stopped airing probably, even if not though those are pretty normal tie-ins) so yeah I would expect 80,000 sales in total.
Some outdoors promotion could help I suppose.

What I meant to say was that Ninki shows interest and, in a way, sales. Not saying that those NUMBERS correspond to sales, but there IS a correlation between interest in sales. I was merely commenting on how sometimes the general sales and rankings are pretty much according to what Ninki predicted, and are sometimes completely wack. I remembered not too long ago the biggest Ninki index was for a Tsuruno Takeshi single, yet his single only ranked no. 8. That's a big difference :P

i don't care how much she sells already, just hope she can keep her streak~
