Some interlude names..?

I recently though some interlude names, and I just simply can`t understand what they mean. : D
So please would you tell what these names mean?:
Load of the SHUGYO [what "shugyo" means?]
taskinlude
taskinillusion
taskinst
tasking
Catcher in the light [I understand the meaning, but it`s strange sentence still : D]

However, these are just guesses, so I want the answers [what a dramatical sentence X,D!] but:
taskinlude = Task included? Task prelude?
taskinillusion = Task in illusion?
taskinst = Task instrumental? [Lol :,D]
tasking = well, just...tasking?

So please tell me what they really mean ^__^;

tasku (I think that's his name) composed the task interludes. So it's just his name + another word.

... is that it? :( I'm disappointed.

I always thought it was some mysterious reference to tasks that need to be done.. or something. Also the Taskinist Avenue (or Takinst Avenue I can't remember) in the Tour Of Secret interlude movie.. I always expected a deeper meaning.

You can find at least 10 threads (11 now) saying that "shugyo" means "hard training"

Search buttom is our friend, people!

(Sigh) It's the unofficial AHS warden again...

But yes, Tasuku, who also helped with the arrangement of a few of her other songs (I am..., Daybreak, No more words, About You, It was) composed and arranged the task-series of interludes and it's basically his name squished with a word of his choice.

Andrenekoi 3rd August 2010 10:40 PM

^at least the warden answered a part of the question, didn't he? Instead of making a reply with already given information only to attack the person who posted before :D

i should say that many times the "serach engine" of AHS fails its reserach so it could happen somebody repropose the same questions!

anyway it's so sad the interludes'name comes from the arranger tasuku..isn't it?

it is kinda, but do somebody of you know what those words, besides his name of course, are? Of course in taskinillusion it`s "illusion" but what about the others?
And what about "Catcher in the light?" I always heard that it`s some literature reference, but is that just a theory or guess?
And what, so Load of the SHUGYO is basically "Load of the HARD TRAINING"? How strange : D

C+R+E+AYUMI 4th August 2010 10:44 AM

yeah, load of the SHUGYO is japaneglish (LOL) i believe that only japanese are able to enjoy and understand fully this matched words...honestly i don't but if you don't translate it it sounds good.
As for Catcher in the light, translated looses fascination, but if i just pronounce it as it is i like this title very much.

ah ah for instance my name's Stefi so if i was the arranger it will be:

stephinillusion
stephinlude
stephinst
stephing (something like midoring LOL)

ah ah that's too funny!

They're probably alluding to the book "The Catcher in the Rye", but I think that's a big stretch.

I've always wondered about the names of the interludes so thanks for making this :D

I think it is because the book has some themes similar to the song

I think of Load of the SHUGYO as 'the heavy workload'

About the task-series.. Sometimes, maybe always, Ayu is responsible for the word attached to 'task'.. Ayu said that she thought one of the tracks sounded like a magic show or some kind of illusionary act, so she decided to call it Taskinillusion

修行 Shugyou doesn't mean hard training like Andrenekoi said...
It means the training hermits or so do, like those people who go away from society, like monks or so, and do their training.

So Load of the SHUGYO means the work done during ascetic training,
Because Ayu's team were like Ascetics when they were making NEXT LEVEL,
locked away from everyone and thing.

Catcher in the light...

If you say Catcher in the Light and Catcher in the Rye in Japanese,
It will seem like this:

キャッチャー・イン・ザ・ライト (Kyaccha in za raito)
キャッチャー・イン・ザ・ライ (Kyaccha in za rai)

It's almost the same, except Light has one extra character.
so i think it's really a reference to this one.

Thanks for correcting me =)

Catcher in the Light was always fascinating to me...but it's hard for me to believe it's associated with Catcher in the Rye...although the spelling is interesting.

did she ever talk about the title in interviews?

Ayu seems to have been very Holden-ish when she was young. :P
