NintendoHTF1242 11th June 2011 02:25 AM

POP POP (ポンポン; Pon Pon) by Ai Otsuka. That song is INSANE.

zellyx 11th June 2011 02:43 AM

^ PON PON is so crazy!!!

Kanariya, actually by the end I'm sick of hitting so many high notes. Haha. For me, pride is actually not bad!
Also.. Nearly ALL of alan's songs. I cannot hit the notes in the same register as her! The "Tibetan wail" I mean. Whew, amazing.

rakeru 11th June 2011 05:57 AM

^SO true about alan. I've stopped trying.

I have lots of trouble with ayaka's Mikazuki, since you need a really powerful voice to make that work.

butterfly_ayu 11th June 2011 07:04 AM

ayu's evolution. I tried to sing along to that song once , and only the "wow-yeah"'s sounded right xD

Raiu-Ayu 11th June 2011 06:57 PM

alan - Ashita e no sanka 0_0 the wailing so hard to do lol

Huh I love Ayaka!! I'll try miyazaki!

Koda Kumi x misono - It's all Love!
I never get this piece right, and I've listened to it kinda often. Too fast for my tastes. Not that I have any trouble hitting any high notes though, but it's just the melody that's hard for me. :D

ayumi hamasaki

- kanariya
- End of the World
- M
- A Song is born
- still alone

There. After my own vocals got deeper, I have found a lot of difficulties with these Ayu songs. There are high notes in every single one and to me it's hard to sing these, but I still try my best lol because I like singing high notes. It doesn't sound good though but I don't care. But it breaks my heart that I know how I can't sing these. Except for A Song is born these are my favorite Ayu songs. :( Maybe I gotta figure out a different way to sing those hmmm...

Oh and I also have difficulties with most of the songs on Love songs and Rock'n'Roll Circus. I love both albums very much but there's just something that makes it unable for me sing most of those songs. I'm not sure if it's just the fact that I haven't really sung these songs enough (especially in Love songs' case) or is it something else but I just have too many difficulties. Oh well, I gotta learn, that's the only way. <3

Any alan song when she wails...It's so hard to sing along with her songs...I used to try, but my voice can't handle it...so I hum :laugh

But I especially...just don't even try to sing along with Tibetan Plateau haha

nanakopy87 18th June 2011 02:04 AM

Love- Someday Again

i can never reach the notes in around 4minutes

Aditmi Krisnasaki ~II~ 18th June 2011 02:09 AM

I agree 100% on Kanariya & a lot of alan's songs...

I also think Ayu's still alone & Trauma as well as many of the songs off of ASFXX are super hard! She really reaches way up there on those notes :dead2.
Pride is actually one of my strengths when it comes to singing Ayu songs. I did struggle with it at first though...another one I used to have problems with was Endless sorrow but now I've mastered that one as well :).

Let me see...Hikki also has some challenging songs...I find myself running out of breath when I try to sing This is Love & Sakura Drops. Prisoner of Love is also pretty tough because there's a lot of high & low extremes in it :(.

I pretty much suck at singing Namie's songs..I don't know R&B just doesn't suit my voice all too well :no. Although I do a half-way decent job on Wishing on the same star if I must say so myself.

Hmm...I know I've sang many different J-pop songs but I can't think of the rest...I'd mostly just stick with Ayu & Hikki since they are mostly within my vocal range.

EDIT: Actually I do remember attempting ayaka's music as well but her voice is so powerful that it made my voice seem pretty weak in comparison...The only one I can think of that I sang well was Mikazuki.

YUKARI 21st June 2011 04:02 AM

I always found SURREAL hard to sing (especially in the beginning) and almost all X JAPAN's songs (except may be Kurenai :D)

PoetGirl 21st June 2011 05:10 AM

yeah, alan. its so embarassing when you try to sing along.

Kacku 21st June 2011 03:54 PM

alan's name has been said many times, and I must repeat what has been said. The most problematic song for me is Gunjou no Tani. The higher notes in the final chorus are just impossible.

Also, Mami Kawada has many difficult songs. The worst are portamento and linkage.

Just try singing along to those!

Chiharo 23rd June 2011 10:20 PM

Anything by Akiko Shikata or Kalafina?

Mirrorcle Monster 24th June 2011 08:57 AM

K-ON! Opening songs. Check them on youtube, totally impossible

Misato 24th June 2011 04:25 PM

Misia - Donīt stop music

Ahhh, so the notes are so high in the chorus! X_x

So agree with this! I was even thinking of it, despite being a big fan of alan (who has crazy range). The chorus to Don't Stop Music is INSANELY hard unless you have a good chest-voice range and can't manage to hit that high note without sounding like a dying cat. It's nearly impossible to hit it the same way MISIA does.

Not Fade Away 9th July 2011 08:08 AM

Namie's lower vocal register songs are easy for me -- IE: Hide & Seek, Want me Want Me, Unusual (cept sometimes she goes pretty high), man Leavin' for Las Vegas (if anyone has heard this) her register is so low I feel like I'm singing a TLC song haha.

I can - for the most part - hit all of Utada's songs. The exceptions are 'Drama', 'Kettobase' ("Kettobaseeeeeeeeeeeee.........EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEE" haha) She goes through so many vocal ups and downs in that song that it sounds like she's almost yodeling (sp?) and the only part of Flavor of Life I can't hit is when she goes REALLY low on that one note -- you all know what I'm talking about.

Ayu's early songs I can hit if I squeak like that lol. Her recent songs are easy for me cause they're very low and I'm definitely a Soprano II - Alto range.

EDT: let's all just have a sing-off and be done with it...hahaha
