Best Album CD+DVD Recommendations

hi there,

I would like to get into new acts and I think the best way would be best albums with DVD of course.

Please let me know which best albums you can recommend.

thank you in advance

PS: I already have best albums from Ayu, Namie, Kuu, Hikki and BoA

OLIVIA and her album "GREATEST HITS"

I don't know if she'll appeal to you, but she makes unique music and she has an amazing voice. The 2nd disc of that best-of is so magical.

You can also try Chihiro Onitsuka's "ONE OF PILLARS ~BEST OF CHIHIRO 2000-2010~" All the songs are flawless/amazing/beautiful

Alan's [Japan Premium Best] album, you can't go wrong with this girl's song.

strongly recommend.

Ai Otsuka's Ai am Best is reallyreally good :luv2 the DVD has all her PVs on it and the booklet has never seen before pictures of the singles!!

AKB48's Kamikyoku Tachi is a good buy. The DVD has no PV's though. Bummer. There's a cheaper U.S. version that comes with a DVD nonetheless.

Dream's 7th Anniversary Best is also a good set for anime fans. CD+DVD versions are hard to find though.

And definitely get alan's best if you don't mind the price. Get Voice of EARTH if you can though. Its a studio album but most of her good songs are on there anyway.

I'll recommend Ai Am Best too :yes, that album got me into Ai-chan's music. I'll also recommend Utada's latest compilation album, it dosn't come with a DVD, but it has a second cd with 5 new songs in it. B'z's "B'z The Best ULTRA Pleasure" is great too if you want to try j-rock, no dvd for this one as well, but it has a LOT of songs. :)

Actually, there's a DVD version for both ULTRA Pleasure and ULTRA Treasure. The DVD version for ULTRA Pleasure contains concert footage from their tours. (Just sayin'. :D)

I recommend this too. The DVD is kind of lame, but the album is great and it comes in two amazing mini hardcover books in a slipcase.

capsule - FLASH BEST

But I think only the first press had a DVD.

kumiko.koda 27th June 2011 11:44 PM

thank you all ^^

I have bought the following albums:

Chihiro Onitsuka's "ONE OF PILLARS ~BEST OF CHIHIRO 2000-2010~" (CD only) because I couldn't find the CD+DVD version

Alan's [Japan Premium Best] album (2CD+DVD)

Alan's Voice of EARTH (CD+DVD)

Ai Otsuka's Ai am Best (CD+DVD+Gift)

NintendoHTF1242 28th June 2011 01:49 AM

^ For Chihiro, there was never a CD+DVD version. But you'll enjoy it :] I love all the tracks.

kumiko.koda 28th June 2011 07:23 AM

^ thank you for this information

I would have searched hard to find a CD+DVD version

Kanzaki 28th June 2011 03:01 PM

Definitely capsule's FLASH BEST and OLIVIA's recent best album.

I'd also recommend Kato Miliyah's best album.

ストロボ・EdGE 1st July 2011 02:18 AM

I second Chii's best album!!

My favorite best albums are ayaka's History 2006-2009 (ayaka) and and Kimura Kaela's 5years.

YuriChan 1st July 2011 07:47 AM

Honestly, I would recommend both "B'z The Best ULTRA PLEASURE" and "'B'z The Best ULTRA Treasure"! :heart Their earlier stuff was pop, but it's kind of pop/rock now. :) The DVD for "ULTRA Pleasure" contain best of live clips from their LIVE-GYMS (their equivalent of Ayu's ARENA TOURS) and "ULTRA Treasure" contains the concert "B'z Showcase 2007". (I'm such a fangirl! :laugh) Utada Hikaru Singles Collection ~vol. 2~ is highly, highly recommended!! :heart:heart She makes amazing music!! :luv2 YUI's SHORT STORIES is another I'd recommend. :)
