My sister has decided a long time ago that she would not have kids, and so she's 39 and doesn't have any kids, and she doesn't plan to have any in the future either.

Having kids is not for everyone. It's not because a majority of people have kids that it's something everyone HAS to do.

It's a CHOICE.

I find it kind of disturbing that you think people should have kids as if it's life or death kind of thing....

Thanks for this comment. I share absolutly your opinion.
Not everyone wanna have kids. It is a Choice, as you said right.
If she don't wanna have kids ever.. it is fine. It is her life.. and she can do, whatever she want.
And belive me.. it is not really nice to hear always "You have no kids? Why?" Why nobody ask "You have kids, why?"
So... maybee, she is not the type to have childeren. People also can have a happy life, without kids.

that's obvious; because having kids is amazing.

I know some people decide not to, and are happy with that, even when they're old and alone. But most people realize how awesome it is to have family.

The people who realize it most are the ones who have kids. Just ask your parents if you're not one.

Also, if you hadn't already found it, here's the planned March Route for Weds.

Obviously the trouble makers may also break away to nearby areas... so be aware.

also somethign about a taxi driver strike...

While I am not sure if having kids is amazing or not, as I am not a parent I think that people have the right to decide whether they want to be parents and not by themselves and that if for any reason they think they aren't ready they shouldn't have kids at the given time. From my point of view having kids of your own isn't all that different from adopting them, so while she might not be able to have kids of her own when she turns 45 I am sure that many kids out there would be lucky to have parents.

Maybe she is not done living her life yet. Ayu is very selfless, but for how many years now, it's always been about her. People answer to her and she has much power in the industry and much control over her career and personal life. If she were to have kids, all of that would change. Ayu would then basically have to answer to someone else and people would no longer be on her time, she would be on someone else's.

I am only 22 years old, and I am in no hurry to have children. Even when fellow high school classmates have gotten married and many of them having children (during high school and shortly after), it makes me realize I want to live my own life before I begin to center myself around someone else. Maybe when I'm in my mid-30s. But I want to enjoy my youth.

jon_the_d 8th November 2011 07:12 PM

I guess no-one's there to greet her? :(

BAD UK!!! BAD!!

This is what I think exactly.

Also, I don't know much about Ayu's past, but it doesn't seem like she had such a great childhood. Maybe she just doesn't want to put a child through something difficult. Maybe she's worried she won't be a good mom, etc. I've seen TONS of bad parents, working in the mental health industry, and believe me, not every parent is a good parent, and parents can be the worse for their children. Scars and traumatizes them for life. It's horrible.

AAAANNYWAY.

I'm sure nobody in the UK knew when she was going to land, she did not say when she was going to arrive, so how could any body know ??

clover_bali 8th November 2011 08:34 PM

Ayu will go to UK and ayu said about it in twitter / Weibo,
if ayu will go to BALI, she's not say anything about it!
She's not reply our question about when we meet her in BALI.
#IRONIC!

If I could be in the UK right now, I would have been more than happy to greet her. I sort of like her hair in the picture.

rakeru 8th November 2011 09:11 PM

spanishfan 8th November 2011 10:38 PM

She's in "Claridge's hotel"*. It isn't far from Langham Hotel (for those who booked a hotel near there)
The cheapest room in Claridge's hotel it's about 700£/night x_x it's a lot more that i'll spend going London lol

*acording to aura at twitter who met her twice in the airport and few minutes ago :D
