Old Hikki VS New Hikki
 

Do you preffer Utada's old R&B-ish stuff (First Love, Distance) or the "recent" more experimental songs? (Deep River, ULTRA BLUE, Heart Station) ??
Personally I think that she is one of the VERY few artists that have improved with the years. Her music is just ART, she is super talented

New for me. Deep River is my favorite album of her :heart

Her two early albums were quite unoriginal and such a waste for her amazing voice imo (except for few songs). I'm glad she started to experiment and compose her own songs.

i dont know... I like all her stuff... so i cant really say which one I like better...

Distance is my #1 Hikki album so that says it all.

I do love her newer stuff too a lot, for example Keep Tryin' makes me feel so energetic whenever I listen to it. :yes

I prefer the old Hikki because the new Hikki is on hiatus :P

Jokes apart, I prefer her newer music. Just as she was getting better and better, she bercomes a lazy bum and retires :(

Not that I don't love old hikki...but her albums were so messy. It exists mainly for nostalgia for me.

I've been a fan of Hikki for a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time but her newer stuff is just amazing. They're expermiental and most times they are hit right out of the park. I love them. Old Hikki was good but newer is just better for me. :)

I like most of Hikki's stuff, but I prefer her newer music. Some of her old songs sound really boring tbh, her newer tracks are more interesting and memorable imo. Deep River is probably my favourite album from her, what a masterpiece. :heart

I love pretty much damn near everything this chick has released. But I definitely prefer Deep River and onwards without a doubt. Deep River is my favorite album of hers.

New Hikki, I suppose. but I love all of Hikki.

Well I first started listening from Hikari to now so I would say new Hikki. Though of course there are songs from before that of hers that I love as well.

Old Hikki because Old Hikki always released things. New Hikki is razy.

I realized a bit into my fandom that I just don't really care for old Hikki, nothing special. There are a few great old songs though that I love...but it's new Hikki's music that actually sets her apart for me and I love almost all of it.
