The Cafe Is Reopening... O(≧∀≦)O It's Been Two Years, And They're BACK!!

It's An Cafe, the Harajuku Dance Rock band that took the international music scene by NYAPPY storm with their danceable pop tunes and uniquely fun-filled production, and they're coming back!! The 5-piece band, who was taking an indefinite break since their Budokan concert in January 2010, announced on April 1, 2012, on their official website as well as on YATTAR JAPAN (international news site for Japanese pop culture) that the band will recommence in summer 2012.

Want details of what is coming up?? They're planning a new release for summer. And of course, they will be true to their promise to the Cafe-kko for "ANCAFESTA '12 SUMMER DIVE", their comeback event, announced as Saturday and Sunday, September 8and 9, 2012 at Kokuritsu Yoyogi Kyougijo (Yoyogi National Gymnasium) in Tokyo.

Further plans are in the works for a World Tour, a Japan Tour, etc. to bring you the maximum An Cafe experience!! Look forward to the all-new, revved-up An Cafe, going full throttle towards the year 2014, their 10th anniversary. O(≧∀≦)O

Thanks for sharing this! An Cafe is the band that first made me take interest in Japanese music outside of songs that appear in video games. :) I got into them just a few months before Bou's departure. ._.

At first when I read the thread title, I thought somebody pulled an epic grammar fail with "An Cafe" a la "An Hero"
Then I found out it was a band.
Now I'm interested in learning more about this band :P

I stopped caring about them after Bou left. I was hoping that the "reunion" would include him, but no :( I wonder what he looks like these days, if he still looks really girly.

I was a pretty big fan some time, so nice to hear that. :)
Guess I'm checking their new realease when it's out.

Nyappy, they are finally back, I missed their fun songs. Too bad Bou isn't together...

I'm wondering, since I just got into Lc5 and I kick myself because I've known about them since their debut, will this interfere with Miku's work with them?
