Not sure, but I heard the last line of the first stanza as

あの頃素直に言えていたのにね

I believe it should be

aitai toki ni aitaiTTE
samishi toki ni samashiTTE

which would be more reasonable since 'tte' works almost like quotes in japanese, right? aka
'when I missed you to say "I miss you";
when I was lonely to say "I'm lonely";
even though I was able to say it then sincerely, but...'
