I really wonder if stores will actually care about the 11.08 release date or if they'll just put it out with the other releases on Tuesday regardless.

Well, this 11/8 release date isn't going to help... JUJU starts 11/7, so not only Ayu has a NINKI disadvantage, she has a one-day release date disadvantage as well...

I'm not really surprised ayumi's not going to get #1 next week since JUJU is putting out 2 best albums

LOVE might probably chart lower than BENI's COVERS 2 since COVERS was an unexpected huge success but you never know

^ I dont think she would get any real competition from COVERS, since that album was just a LONG seller... it stuck around for weeks, and I think is still charting rather well, right?

I find it weird that my story only had 125.50... I really dont understand how these people get their numbers... I mean 400 people polled, but you can have numbers into the 500's... and something like my story where the polled only 125 people, but sold over 1 million copies... huh.

BENI is releasing her 2nd covers album next week so there's a possibility she might chart/rank in higher than LOVE

falling third to two best albums, while devastating to the fanbase, is not unexpected
especially a single marketed as a mini-album falling behind two best albums
completely understandable
however, the 90k predicted sales is what really surprised me
Maybe because the sound is more like old Ayu people in Japan are getting really excited for this mini?
although I do believe that if Ayu would have put more into promotion that sales would probably be higher

NINKI's rating is NOT a sales prediction. It's a point value that comes from four groups of people that subscribe to Oricon Style being polled about the coming week's releases. (4 groups of people in their teens, twenties, thirties, and forties, I believe.)

There used to be more data about NINKI but nowadays it's just a very simple chart.

More often than not, the artists who are favored by subscribers do very well in the NINKIs. (they usually have a yearly popularity ranking which Ayu almost never appears on)

Just hope for luck...

That she won't get a #1 was clear from the beginning, and I don't think it's a problem.

well JUJU is releasing two albums, her fanbase isn't hardcore enough to buy both lbr therefore it will affect her sales imo

maybe the Xilla tie-in could push Ayu ahead, I would be more confident saying that if she did promo but getting first isn't impossible anyway first or third I don't care

Nah, maybe she will surprise everyone and sell platinum in the first week (I'd like to see that happen hehe). :D

At least she's gonna go better than BENI. That's what she gets for making another MALE cover album.
