Korean music is very hits all over Asia.

so basically it's ****** kpop and the only artists up there that are cool are namie and ayu (and maybe kara--they're nifty).

That too. But K-Pop isn't that bad. It's not a surprise it's outselling popular J-Pop acts since K-Pop is all the rage. But some comments are just so mean :( BIGBANG's music is great. Well...their older stuff anyway. Newer stuff is hit or miss. Congrats to Ayu for making it though.

I think sex appeal has a huge part in their ranking as well.

Visionfactory mentioned that L'arc en ciel is at #12 for Butterfly. Hmm.. Interesting that AKB48 doesn't seem big in Taiwan. Maybe they are only a Japan hit wonder.

lol if you want to sell something, appeal to women xD that's what whole sell thing is holding onto xD hence the whole top part of the list. the only good thing from those koreans there is FT Island. they're deffinitelly different.

BIGBANG is flawless, very deserved to be #1, #4, #6 and #10.

Also, it's great to see that ayu and namie are still getting international attention. I mean, they don't really try to expand aside from Japan.
