Recommend me K-pop
 

Hey everyone, I would be happy if you guys could recommend me Kpop who similar with PSY. ^^ I'm obsessed with this dude. So pretty please. :)

2NE1 and BIG BANG are the only two that I can think of off the top of my head. o_o; They're from the same label as PSY! :D

Thanks but I'm not so much for groups I'm more for solo artists. :/ and Hip-hop, rnb and rap is not my thing either...

If you want someone like PSY I can only think of Norazo which is a funny singer like PSY except they're two people instead of one. And no other singer comes to mind if you want someone like PSY :laugh

There are many soloist in KPop but they're normal singers unlike PSY

Only Korean singers I totally :heart are 2NE1, BoA & Jay Park. Their stuff is all awesome. I also like Chae Yeon's 2nd, 3rd & 4th albums along with Ivy's first 3 albums. I'd recommend those for sure. :D

You mean "WHAT" is HelloVenus. HelloVenus is a recent K-Pop girl group! :) They have some really good music and they have only (now) three mini albums.

Oh ok. I'm actually not very much into kpop. I don't tend to like most girl groups. 2NE1's been a rare exception for me, and majority of male singers I listen to are Rock. (ie. L'Arc~en~Ciel & B'z)
Jay Park's been another one of those rare exceptions. However, there's a couple songs he's done that I don't care for... and only song I've heard so far from PSY which I really like is Gentleman.

I'm not into groups only solo-artists thanks again anyways..

Chae Yeon & Ivy are solo artists. I can up load some of their albums if you'd like to give a listen. :)

try G-DRAGON. kpop doesn't have many soloist tbh.

For soloist I recommend you Ailee. :)

Personally i dont care for her voice but u might like some stuff from Lee Hyori or possibly Gummy. I find soloists arent as popular in Korea these days, which in my personal opinion stinks. As for straight pop, that might be hard. I find its more so the groups doing that stuff. With soloists its usually more so r&b & rap. Umm while BoA does do R&B n such she has done pop. U can try listening to older Korean albums like NO.1 or Atlantis Princess more so for that or many of her Japanese albums have more so pop music than her Korean stuff. I havent heard a ton from Gummy but personally she's not my thing. however she is popular.

^Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is one of her dance songs. The current song she's promoting, Bad Girl is dance-y too. Not sure if those are Pop tho lol

Her first album bored me and her second one "Dark Angel" got in SOOOO MUCH trouble over the number of songs she 'covered' for that. It's Hyorish, H-Logic & Monochrome are her 3rd, 4th & 5th in that order.
