Though their are only 3 who are actually real. Ayu is number 8

9. Sunako Kirishiki (From Shiki)
8. Ayumi Hamasaki
7. The Sailor Guardians
6. Honoka Kōsaka (from Love! Live!)
5. Hatsune Miku.
4. Kyary Pamyu Pamyu
3. Princess Mononoke
2. LiSA
1. Major Motoko Kusanagi

8. Ayumi Hamasaki

This Party Queen (see what I did there?) is one the most successful artists of ALL TIME in Japan. Despite announcing she’d gone deaf in one ear in 2008, she’s continued to pump out massive hits.

She’s also teamed up with Hello Kitty for a fashion line, she’s hosted T.V shows, she was in a cartoon.... Pretty much she can do all of the things.

LiSA at number 2? What has she done? Hah!

douggn 5th March 2015 01:25 AM

^ Its not from a poll, I think its just an article from one of their reporter people. I dont even know who LiSA is

truehappiness 5th March 2015 01:26 AM

She's an anisong singer, haha. I like her stuff, but she isn't much of a personality and doesn't do much outside of her anime tracks.

I'm glad Ayu was featured~

She is a great role model but their reasoning is wtf lmao

Bigtop 5th March 2015 04:10 AM

My goodness...I'm surprised that LiSA is #2. WTF!? Seriously? Ayu's only #8 - and LiSA's #2?!?!?! (O_O)

yoshino 5th March 2015 07:32 AM

This is a nice news. Ayu is definitely a great role model. :yes

This list is completely bizarre, I mean, look at No.1 which is Major Motoko Kusanagi from the Ghost in the Shell series, I love her, I admire her, she's extremely capable and cool, but as a role model? I can't imagine ORDINARY people learn very much from her seeing as she is a leader of an elite police division who excels in computer, hacking and combat. Intelligence and strength are not something to be LEARNED or there won't be anyone dumb and/or feeble. You learn attitude, methods, facts, etc. but certainly not intelligence and physical power.

Seems like it's just the personal opinion of some anime fan, the reasonings are not very convincing and a bit amateur.

I find Kokia to be a freakin cool rolemodel but you know...Whatever. XD

Ayu is a great role model in certain aspects, mostly being that she's one hell of a hard worker who knows how to get it done. I love her honesty, too, which I think is very role-model behavior.

LiSA became huge among anime fans with her SAO tie-ins ^^

^Sword Art online is one of the most famous anime of 2012

I think she is definitely a good role model. I mean, I wake up every morning and cry because I'm not ayumi hamasaki yet.

yay ayu on no. 8 that's great!
ayu is an inspiration and role model!

I love that both Ayu and the Sailor Soldiers were featured in the same list. I personally think Ayu and Minako are a lot alike.

Andrenekoi 3rd April 2015 05:23 AM

I find it offensive that this lista put real people and cartoon characters as the same... But I try to keep in mind that otakus usually don't really know the difference...
