Just watched. Lovin' this PV but I want to know how the girls feel uncomfortable, annoyed when they wear the red thread. More emotion please!

chestergringo 8th July 2015 03:43 AM

I ripped this PV (LQ): http://www.mediafire.com/download/af...L+%28LQ%29.mp4

Truly loved this PV, so very much. :heart I've enjoyed the whole "red thread" concept & it's nice to see that they all broke free from it, at the end. Speaking of the end...ayu looked simply gorgeous during the last few scenes, of her on the rooftop. :love Overall, what a fantastic video! Great job, ayu! :D

truehappiness 8th July 2015 03:57 AM

Hideaki Sunaga's PVs are always so beautiful!

Looks like I was right about Ayuri being in this. I knew she looked familiar!

I like the PV...simple and meaningful.

My only complaint is we don't know what tied Ayu...

The hairdresser having affair.
The teacher maybe feel frustated with teaching.
The student maybe feel not smart enough.

We don't know what the reason behind Ayu tied by red thread.

clover_bali 8th July 2015 04:19 AM

simple but... this PV have a great meanings

ayu's "husband" in this pv is having an affair with the hairdresser

oaristos 8th July 2015 04:34 AM

I like that she went for a more meaningful music video this time, even though this one was quite boring.

I think the teacher doesn't feel confident in her teaching and the student doesn't feel that she's smart enough as you can see her mouthing "baka/idiot" to herself in the mirror.

Maybe Ayu's red thread is related to when she was 'running away' from Japan last year? Surprised they had her stay in the room without doing much else other than sing, but maybe they wanted to keep hers ambiguous. Love the touches like the butterfly trapped inside.

The hairdresser leaves the salon, the teacher gets her confidence back, the student seems to be at peace with herself, and Ayu seems to venture back outside.

It's kind of a typical j-pop video / theme, but compared to Ayu's last dozen or so PVs, this is so refreshing. It has a message, and the message, though generally unoriginal, is not at all cryptic and difficult to grasp from the first watch. I like this, and hope so, so much that Sayonara and Summer diary will reflect the same attention to detail as seen in this PV.

Fantastic job, Ayu. It does, finally, appear Ayumi Hamasaki has returned from abstraction. :)

What is this about? When did this happen?

freedreamer 8th July 2015 05:23 AM

the mega link needs a decryption and the two HQ google links are the same are they? haha

I really LOVE the PV...probably her most meaningful PV since hbya..and most symbolic since MOON omg..5 years
it's so Japanese and genuine and very juxtaposed with the positive message the song is saying. great work!!!

i think Ayu's red thread stems from LONELINESS. her story is the only one devoid of anyone else and it's been a recurring theme in her works recently..

TheRainbow 8th July 2015 05:37 AM

I liked the video. :) It's up there with Last minute for me.

holy_arrow 8th July 2015 05:38 AM

I don't know why I can't access to the links (mega + mediafire) on the first post but in my own post and chestergringo's one is Ok

AyumiAi 8th July 2015 05:50 AM

I think we all know that Ayu didn't really break free of Destiny
Here's my theory, in the last scene where she lets go of the red string, her feet are no longer shown. I think she actually cuts her foot off in order to be able to remove the string.
It could symbolize a whole lot of things, like how even without a foot she can still run, or, butterflies, like the one shown, can fly with their wings they don't need feet, Implying that Ayu's foot was really just holding her back.

perfectodub 8th July 2015 07:19 AM

cliche, cliche, cliche ..

and nothing interesting about the red threads (actually they just another form of chains)

(in the other hand, the song is excelent!)
