Are contests usually held on the same date every year?

Specifically, I was wondering if the remix contest is gonna be in April like the last one. It used to take place around February.

Just so I know how much time we have to prepare :)

Unfortunately there was no AHS Remix Contest 2016, i think? Or i missed it? Due to the number of participants lowering each year it kinda disappeared

Usually the contests were organised by an administrator who is no longer active on the forum. That, and the dwindling participation rate, means there's likely no competitions planned for this year.
