Where to buy jpop CD's in Hong Kong?
 

I am in Hong Kong and on vacation so now I am looking for CD shops that sell good jpop CD's. I am in Sheng Shui right now. Anybody know any shops that sell Japan versions and not too expensive?
I really want to buy Ayumi's new album so that's why.
Please help me. :weep

ok um...go to Mong Kok
and theres a mall call "Sung Woh"«H©M¤¤¤ß the basement or the upper levels sells all kinds of cd*especially jpop* from that mall u get from ranges 125-380 hk$ from what i know $280(cd+dvd) is the cheapest to get the mini album

and think on the top level u can buy anything from the tours(goodies/ayupan or the vcd that ppl recorded and sells them(shows like heyx3 music station etc)
actually that whole buildin sells alot of jpop stuff
thats the place i go to buy ayu's cd whenever i'm in hk

The place haku mentioned in one of the best, but $280-360 is an expensive price range though, o_o I heard ppl say I am... was only around $180-ish when it came out o_o

you can get it from HMV, but HMV is THE most expensive place, that's the last resort.

In addition to the place haku mentioned, another very similar place with loads of cd stores is No.188 building in Wan Chai, there should be heaps there too.

But J-pop is pretty accessable in HK, you can find it in many ordinary cd stores, good luck =)

but ermm.....be sure not to get in peak hours, you can barely walk through...in the afternoon is probably a good time...

i heard there's quite alot in tst.....

haven't been there in quite a few years so i'm not too sure.... i wanna go back too

Anyway, I found a place that sells Ayu's latest mini album somewhere in Yau Ma Dei I think or Jim Sa Chui and I bought the Japan version with DVD and it cost me about $190.

Really? Do you know the name of the shop? I might be going to hk next year!:D

hehe, I got Jpnver CD+DVD for $180 in Wan Chai. =)

And I love 2nd hand cd stores, I got vogue and Faraway singles and they look brand new, Jpn ver, and each was only $25HKD.

I got 2 'Other Side' remix singles, each for $68 too~and 2nd hand 'appears' for $150. The Memorial Address CD+DVD was the last Jpnver though when I got it o_O"
