So in the new season ten of Rupaul's Dragrace, a contestant's drag name is Yuhua Hamasaki.

She even states that her drag name is based off of Ayu in the second clip I gave a link to.

This show is super popular. I wonder if Ayu will reach out! She should be a judge on the show!

When I saw her name I was like: Yeah, that's familiar. And then I saw the Meet The Queen and I was like YAAAAS! I hope she does at least one iconic Ayu look, she could fit them easily depending on the challenge.

I really hope she will channel Ayu at some point in the show. Whether it is a runway moment or snatch game (some queens already have proven that the celebrity they impersonate does not have to be worldfamous in order to be funny)

I just hope Yuhua won't be kicked out on the first episode.

I doubt she'll reference Ayu by anything else than the Hamasaki part.

The only thing I expect from this is some gays streaming Ayu's songs on Spotify and maybe Ayu inviting Yuhua for some PV or concert.

No doubt if any of the queens watched anime at some point they would know Hamasaki as a name.

Idk isn't it fairly obvious Hamasaki is a Japanese name just by the sound of it. I mean if you know Kawasaki and Mitsubishi are Japanese, you probably would know Hamasaki is too just by hearing it.
