Ayu cheer up campaign (Idea collection)
 

the plan xD

- The campaign will take place on the 15th august, the release date of trouble.
- The hashtag that won the votw is #TheWayWeAre
- we will post a line of lyrics from our fave song, song that influenced us the most, touches us the most, etc (of possible in japanese) and explain our choice.
- we will change our avatar on the that day to trouble cover

So the idea came up as Ayu looking so sad in her recent social media posts and the sadness of "they way I am" lyrics to start a social media campaign like Under the same Sky and We love you Ayu.
So I thought to create a new thread to not spam the Album thread.

The way I am lyrics so far
I thought of making something referring to the lyrics, like show her that the future is bright and we won´t throw her away.
#TheWayWeAre whould be a nice hashtag for the campaign


So any other ideas or ideas how we can express/realize this?

A video with a mix of people singing Who... and holding messages written for her?

um not a lot of people would be in for a singing? But what about just writing down the lyrics instead? O any song that would actually fit in the theme to respond to the lyrics of "the way i am"? I dunno...

Please not another video. I would like to see everyone doing something different, instead if posting link to the same video

And I think we don't have much time. Best date to post everything is 15th August.

Don't have any ideas right now but I wouldn't use the Who...and messages concept again. Whe already Made a video like this and right now I can't see how much different it would be

I know, that is worst idea and I don't know how to realise it. But I will say it anyway) maybe it will make someone to think about something more interesting. My idea is to show that we have some precious things that might be old, but we will never throw them away because they have special meaning for us. Like the photo of old book that you read 100500 times or favorite toy from your childhood.

Or maybe we can make our photos like first cover (half-faced ayu) and upload them with little message and hashtag

Maybe something like what artcika said. Everyone can send a rush of social media posts with hashtags like #TheWayWeAre #AMessageForAyu and tag Ayu and her troupe members too to get more exposure. The posts can contain quotes of Ayu's song lyrics that act as a response to The Way I Am and just the current circumstances. Anything you want to say to her in this moment.

^It's basically the fastest idea. People could include a photo accompanying the message or something....

Aderianu, the concept might be good, but it asks for a lot of explaining with it.... And what that would imply? that Ayu is old and has a nostalgic feeling that brings someone back to listening to her? lol er......?

Wasn't the cover thing done too, though, for some other campaign?

Not a bad idea! Maybe the half-faced photo of Ayu from the Trouble cover?
I think it would make sense that we all use the same photo of Ayu?

Many people posted photos with RnRC... I don't remember why

I remember seeing a bunch of fan pics done as covers for one of the releases, i cannot remember which one though....

The lyrics of Who... are a nice answer to "The way I am", as they talk about keep on supporting who was there for us when we needed.

If this doesn't answer "When you don't need me you can throw me away", I don't know what does.

But really, everyone quoting the song that is more meaningful dor them would cause an amazing effect

^ that is actually a good idea, a song or a part of it that gave people strength. Not a bad idea.

Don't really think we should use Who... as the song again. It was already used for #WeLoveYouAyu last year and IMO it was pretty much.... the same? It wasn't connected with negative comments that much but also about showing her our support, love, how she helped us and all, using the song's lyrics etc.. Don't know! I suppose I would be in it, to show Ayu my support as well but we've done something similar with who so maybe, this time let's choose another song or something.

Did she ever mention the video, btw?

^^Everyone choosing "their" song seems like a good idea, though, I must say!

I think it will be quite nice if we can rewrite the lyrics to sort of ans to ayu's sentences.
Idea is from jolin's rewind and Jay's rainbow song where the sentences actually ans to the other song.

A simple black blackground or a b&w picture of the person, the part of the lyric that means the most to the person and the hashtags makes things simple to execute and even gives it more potential of viralizing among the part of her fandom who isn't in AHS

I really like this idea and I can totally recreate a half faced b&w trouble cover image of me in my photography studio. We can do this on instagram, yes?

I like the idea but hope the part of posting a pictures of ourselves is only optional, I'm not into pictures of myself lately, I don't feel comfortable with them (I did sent some pictures of me in the Who... video last year but it was pretty stressing to me anyway lol)
