HARA (하라, ハラ) is a South Korean singer and actress currently active in Japan.
She was a member of the Korean pop girl group KARA. She joined the group after Kim Sung Hee left. (from generasia)

I decided to create a new thread for her, since she's finally debuting in Japan properly.

She had a digital single (WILD) last year, but it was so bad that no one cared. Midnight Queen is actually a good song, reminds me of STEP from KARA.

2019 has been a pretty bad year for her personally (see all the drama here https://www.allkpop.com/artisttag/hara) but let's hope for this start to be something fresh for her.

Here it is her first performance SOLO in Japan's TV, she's singing Mr. and well... She had a major wardrobe malfunction during most of the performance...

I watched the whole performance and didn't noticed the wardrobe malfunction at first :( poor girl, but I think the camera is very bright at least is not that obvious

I'm ordering HARA's debut CD so bad, I missed Nicole debut CD as the label discontinued her material pretty early

I'm not a huge fan of Nicole's songs, she doesn't seem to have a clear view of what she wants to be or sounds like...

Ji Young (or JY) is the most active one, I think.

Overall I think Midnight Queen is my favorite song from them as solo singers. ♥

Her scandal with his boyfriend, her suicide attempt and more scandals, I hope they can stop. I hope she can find succes with this new release.

That's very sad :( I thought she was doing better but I guess the passing of Sulli was too much for her to handle.

This is so shocking...

I've never been a fan of k-pop but news about Sulli shocked me. Then I heard that netizens kept bullying Goo Hara saying "you'll be next to go". And then I saw that Instagram Live where Goo Hara was crying over Sulli's loss and told that "she'll keep going on".

I just can't believe it all happened within just like 1.5 months. I'm shocked and I'm crying.

At this point, I don't even know what to say anymore...

She was part of my introduction to Kpop, it was because of her and kara that I started to enjoy it. Can't believe this is happening. I felt really bad when I learned about this.

Rest in peace dear Hara. Now you're in heaven with Sulli.

3 deaths in K-pop, seriously, it is no longer an isolated case. What's going on with the K-pop labels, it has been revealed that some abuse, punish and humillate their artists, I wonder what HARA had to go through... for it to not happen to others in the future (or right now)

By the way Midnight Queen sold only 1,900 copies in Oricon in its first week, this is worst than I predicted

I was so sadden to hear about her passing. :( Both 3 of them were in groups that made me really enjoy K-Pop back then and it's just so sad to see them go.

It's more than a K-Pop Case, it's the society. The main cause of people under 40s in South Korea is suicide, and the K-Pop artists are just a reflect of how the society is working. I wonder how this can change...

That's actually really good for a debut single nowadays.
Not that sales would matter at all right now...
