Songs you'd hoped to see on A BALLADS 2...
 

...but weren't included!

I don't mean this as greed, criticism, or lack of gratitude for A BALLADS 2. Just, what songs would you have included if you created the tracklist yourself?

I think the track list for the album was really well rounded. Unlike others I’m glad they included songs like Curtain call and untitled ~for her~. But there are four tracks that should have been on there:

Walk
Sweet scar

Easily some of her best ballads post 2010.

I get that some of the songs she included like meant a lot to her or something, but that doesn't make them good ballads :no

at the same time, I can draw another list of "songs I wish weren't in A BALLADS" or "songs I'm glad aren't in A BALLADS" but I digress :laugh

The biggest one for me has to be November, it's such a fantastic song!

And then probably criminal and Hanabi episode II, if they classify as ballads?

November may be my favorite song in general, but idk if I would call it a ballad? Looking at some lists here it seems lots of folks have different definitions for what a ballad is though...

And I can’t believe I forgot HANABI ~episode II~. The fact that it wasn’t included has me shook.

I love that song too. It's probably right on the border of ballad and mid-tempo. I imagine this song is painful for her now though (or maybe at best irrelevant?)

Will, Pride, GREEN, November and Sweet scar and probably some more of her creative ballads I just forgot right now. This release is still a big disappointment to me and I can only tolerate it because it gave us the georgous cover of Haru yo, koi I waited for since forever. The cover of Haru yo, koi is the only song I care for lol. It's perfect. I love love love love the original A BALLADS to death but I can't even stand the tracklist of A BALLADS 2. I hate the flow and it's so boring and repititive I can't. It sounds as if she's some kind of Kana Nishino - her most beautiful ballads which still make me cry don't deserve this.

Right that might be why! For me it is more ballad-y than aeternal for instance but it might just be that my definition of ballad is wrong :laugh

Isn’t Love song also mid-tempo? I never considered Love song a ballad song.

A ballad, again, isn't defined by its tempo but by its lyrical structure which makes songs like Love song, Memorial adress, last Minute etc. Ballads.
