Copy Control => MD

Hi, I just got an MD player recently, for christmas, and I tried recording my Ayumi singles onto my MD player...

However, the thing is, for my Voyage and Free & Easy singles, the quality of the songs was BAD. They were filled with "clicking" sounds in the background, and it sounded like the disc was SCRATCHED or something, which they aren't.

So, i was wondering if any of you people knew what was wrong? I think this is the Copy Control in effect, but it SAYS you can copy to your MD player...

The programs i'm using are : Sonic Stage and Net MD. I REALLY don't know what's going on >_<;;;

So...you're trying to rip from CD directly to MD? I thought using a program like MusicMatch would've worked for this, but if not, you can check out this thread, which talks about CCCD and programs to use for it.

I dunno, I've tried to use a lot of programs to rip the CD. It's weird. Like, you can load the CD into Windows Media Player, right? However (and i JUST noticed/realised this) only the CDs pre A Ballads have the imperfections in the audio. When i mean imperfections, i mean the clicking sounds and the scratched up sounds. It's REALLY weird. I'm pretty sure this is part of the copy control, because they aren't there when i play it in my CD player or in the player that comes up when you play it on your computer. However, when i rip it, it makes those noises, which i thought was normal, being copy controlled. However, shouldn't it be ok to just transfer directly to your MD? Like, without the ripping process? It's very confusing. It's very confusing! >_<;;; Anyways, i'm going to try the program you suggested, thanks for you help! I was afriad no one would see this post!! >_<;;; Thanks a lot!! :)

Ack, actually, it didn't work. I get the same effects (the clicking and scratching)
