Able to be sued by the RIAA by using FTP??
 
is it possible to be sued by the RIAA by sharing via FTP??Im sharing all asian stuff so....

No, it shouldn't be. As long as it's a "backup" of songs/cds you already own, you shouldn't be. It's basically the same as a p2p program, but who knows..?

Someone's FTP said something to that effect, anyway. They said that they wouldn't be held responsible, because the users downloading should only use it as a backup.

:-/.....i actually have most of the actual albums....and even if i dont.,..its not like the RIAA will come in my house flipping thru my CDs...-__-...(but then again, maybe they will...)

eh, I think the whole RIAA think is blown outta proportion. Everyone's scared about it, but out of alllllllll the users sharing music, only a small amount have gotten in trouble.
