song titles
So I was wondering, since most remixes are labelled with the double quotations " and windows doesn't seem to like double quotations in file names, which alternative symbol do you go for?
personally, I like using dashes -, it seems much neater to me. What do you guys think? |
Interesting poll :)
I use [square brackets], but I really like squiggly lines~! |
yea..interestin....but ~'s rule..:-P
|
When the title includes "s I usually write it like this: Two of us 'HAL's mix'
So I just take ' instead of ". I use - for instrumentals though. |
square brackets..
Ayumi Hamasaki - Fly High [VooDoo & Serano Mix] liek that heh |
Tilde's rule!
In case no one knew, Tilde's are the ~ symbols. A close second are the square brackets |
i used to use parenthesis but then i started to like the squarebrackets... :)
|
Ayumi Hamasaki - M (Smoker's Mix)
Yeah I use regular brackets... :) |
i usually use brackets but sometimes dashes
|
~Woohoo~
|
I use double ' - and it looks like: ''remix title'' - and it worls that way ;)
|
<--look :D
|
i guess what your poll labels as brackets. i call it parenthesis though. :P but yeah. those. i label everything with those. even "original mix/version"
|
Yeah >_> I think they're called both brackets and parenthesis
What about the ID3 tags? Do you guys just leave it with " since there's no restriction on the characters? |
This is kinda off topic, but....
Anywho... Brackets look like these: {}, [] Parenthesis: () |
I use (), i never use ~ because some song titles actually has '~' in them o_O'
|
dashes
|
I use this :
Moment (Original Mix) Moment [Flying Humanoid mix] Moment -Instrumental- You ~Northern Breeze~ SEASONS ~2003 rebirth mix~ :) |
~~ :)
|
dashes are clearer for me, but ~~ are nicer ^^
