What do the two people say in the beginning of SCAR?

This has always bugged me-I can never seem to figure it out.

It sounds like the man is saying something in Japanese and then the woman responds with something in English that goes like, "It's not true...it's just a recording." I can't really seem to tell.

Does anyone have an idea or know what is said?

Thanks-all help will be appreciated greatly. :)

seems like a telephone recording 'the number you are calling is not in service...this is a recording"

gogirlanime 23rd May 2004 07:27 AM

I thought I head the word "Cafe" in there somewhere lol

akatsuki 23rd May 2004 08:29 AM

It's french.
"le numéro que vous avez demandé n’est plus en service actuellement … nous regrettons de ne pouvoir donner suite à votre appel",

It's something you heard often on phone. that means, in general,

"The number (telephone #) you asked for isnt disponible for now. We are sorry that you can't reach the person you want"

i think its after the french... she says its not true its just recording... :D

How do you guys know for sure that it's French? Is it because you guys understood it or this was mentioned somewhere? I always thought it was Japanese being spoken.

Also I noticed that the woman replies, "It's not true it's..it's just a recording..."-she stuttered. LOL.

Also akatsuki-what do you mean you hear it often on the phone? I've never heard a French recording of that on the phone before. :shrug

Thanks though. :)

First one is Japanese, second one is french and last one is in English. They all say the same if you ask me - The number you have reached is not in service, this is a recording.

Kaiousei 25th May 2004 02:32 AM

the english part sounds like this:
"the number you have reached is not in service, this is a recording"

i dont hear any japanese tho...

Tyran the Dark 26th May 2004 11:36 AM

Well... the first one is in french, you can be sure... as I am french! ^_~ "le numéro que vous avez demandé n'est plus en service actuellement, nous regrettons de ne pouvoir donner suite à vore appel" you hear this recording voice when the number you tipped is wrong, or doesn't exist anymore... :) Hope that helped!

I hear Japanese in the beginning. It seems like it's mixed up together.

maybe you could look at the lyrics for scar? or, listen to the song a few times. (I've never listened to scar since I don't own any of ayumi hamasaki's albums.

Tyran the Dark 6th June 2004 02:35 PM

In the lyrics, there's no sign of the beginning talk... >__<
