I'm going to see Franz Ferdinand in concert!
 

I thought I had missed seeing them in the US for the time being...

But as I was driving home from college this weekend, blasting Franz, and I turned off the CD turned on the local alternative rock station when I got into town and they were playing "This Fire". Right after they said something about them being in town, and I was like "WTF??" and I started freaking out.. haha.

So after investigation I found out that they're coming to Detroit to play at "The Night 89x Stole Christmas" with Good Charlotte and Jimmy Eat World on December 1st. I bought my tickets today and I am so excited!! ::squeee::

I'm in the 14th row of A10 on the side towards the center!! YAY!! Good seats :D

Lots of people I know have meet them after shows and were giving me tips, so hopefully I'll have some pictures to post of me and the guys :D

I keep hearing about this on 89X. I want to go for the heck of it, Im not too into any of the bands, but I can proudly say I hate GC. Although FF do seem interesting, and I like Jimmy Eat World's 2nd last radio song.. (O.o)

They just added "The Used" and "Taking Back Sunday"... I've never heard of these groups.... :shrug:

Im not really into either of the groups, but they do have some good songs. I think they'd be cool to see.

Oh!Lucky you. No fair, i love FF but like yay for you. Ive heard of both of the groups, heard OF them, but never actually heard them.

I was at the underOATH and Coheed & Cambria concert last week. We didnt get a seating arrangement, but it was pretty good since we were standing right up front with the crowd.

Franz Ferdinand isn't going to be in the next Harry Potter anymore... oh well, it was fun imagining it...

I'm so envious! Franz Ferdinand is soooo freaking amazing!!!! I hope you get to meet them!
