HELP - Overseas versions?!
 

Hey all,

I REALLY need to buy the next album "My Story" of Ayumi Hamasaki. But I really want to support the sales for that album so I need to ask: If you buy an overseas version of a CD, will it effect oricon's sale-stats?
Can someone please explain me cos I've been wondering this for a long time.

Not the oricon I think but still it does help in the overall sales

but where will the overall sales be listed? Like when A Best sold 4.65 million. Is that for japanese versions only? What will happen if the overseas sales are so much?

Oricon and other Japanese lists only list the sales within Japan, I believe.

Basically, buying an Overseas version will not change the numbers of the Oricon charts, and the 4.65 million for A Best includes Japan versions only.

if you watch the dearest video, in the begining when there was a meeting, you can see on the whiteboard there is a graph reading "domestic sales" and "overseas sales". so this os exactly the case. buying os version will help os sales but not domestic sales (the one shown at oricon).
