Anyone else have a late shipping date for MY STORY?
 

I've nevered preordered anything from Yesasia before, so I'm trying to figure out what is up. I preordered MY STORY (CD + DVD) on Dec 2 and got my confirmation not too long afterwards. However, it gave me an expected shipping date of Dec 23! :gnash I'm like, come on! Why is it being shipped out an entire week after it's release? Has anyone else been given such a late ship out date? Or is this just the way preorders work? :irked I got the freebee shipping and had a $5 coupon to use on it, but I don't see why those would effect anything. Anyone got an inkling? Thanks, chuu's.

theres a very HIGH demand of that album right now..as well as mayn others, considering its holiday seasons...so yeah..:-/

Well, DUH, but still, come on, 8 days? I'm disappointed.

It's just an "expected date," it never really means it's gonna be shipped on that day. It might be shipped a few days before. Depending on the CD's availability.
One more thing we have to take note of, if you're gonna order on yesasia in the next few days, are the shipping cut-off delivery dates.

^Thanks, but that link is for orders arriving before Dec. 25. I'm not worried about it arriving before Christmas. But you're right, it's just an expected date. I'm just paranoid that I won't receive the album until January, lol.

i ordered mine 2 days ago, along with Ayu 2005 calender, MORNING MUSUME。's 6th album and a Totoro desktop calender^^*

I'll definitely be getting MY STORY but I didn't bother preordering. I figured I'd wait until the mess of the initial rush and Christmas subsided and then worry about it.

Besides, then if they add a poster deal or something I'm all set. ^_^

HOWEVER...thank you very much for showing that cut-off shipping page, leafyamazaki. I've still got an order or two to place that I'd really like to get by Christmas, and while they won't contain MY STORY now I know I really need to get a move-on.

Here's my order's confirmation (I made the order on first december) :That's weird ...
I had some problems (*) with the two orders I have made before this one, so I can't compare with the order of MY STORY.

(*) 1. YesAsia asked for informations on the credit card
2. monochrome was unavailable

My expected shipment date is December 17th, but I preordered like a month ago. I'd say they've just got a backlog of people preordering it so the have to ship those out and then ship out the newer orders.

My expected ARRIVAL date was the 23 of December, but it shipped yesterday. I think so many people pre-ordered that they had to re-stock and would be afraid the CD wouldn't ship the exact day it came out. So, I would think they would get re-stocked before then. But you never know, it is Christmas time. Ayu always picks the ideal times to release albums. or Avex..because they're money hungry.

You can't even get the First Press edition at CDJapan anymore, if you order the CD+DVD you don't get one of the random covers. I ordered mine from Yesasia, Pre-ordered in late November. I just wanted to be sure I got it before Christmas.

Crap..I hope later on they have a poster you can buy too.

i just ordered from there about a month ago (a month exactly). i didn't preorder anything (i ordered photobooks). it had told me that the expected shipment date would be on dec.9th, but i ended up getting it a week before that.

i'm sure it's nothing to worry about! yesasia can be kinda weird sometimes.

i ordered one from cdjapan that was delayed.

then last thursday i ordered from yesasia another two cause i wanted more than one cover and then another one on wednesday. all 3 shipped on wednesday night.

r u sure you guys arent looking at the expected arrival date of the cd?? as my expected arrival date is the 26 but i mean it never takes more than 4 days from yesasia to me.

and when something says ships in 1-2 days it ships just after midnight my time on th same day i buy it.

So do you think if my expected arrival date is the 23rd, and it was shipped on the 15th, and I had -standard shipping- it would come BEFORE the 23rd? I was hoping a few days sooner actually...according to YesAsia it's 3-7 Business days, and I live in MN.

well mine shipped on wednesday and it arrived monday (over 30 packages have taken that long at most to get to me over the last 3 months from Yesasia)

I would say yours would be here monday as well.
