i think it does sound kinda like it........ i think some of Ayu's songs do reflect on her dad like Teddy Bear foe example.

does anyone else find it interesting that despite the fact that ayu is famous her father has never surfaced?? maybe he's dead...?

The thing is, if he did go on news shows going, "I'm Ayumi Hamasaki father!" everyone would know he was doing it for either the fame or the money. He doesn't win in either situation since Ayumi probably has a grudge or maybe doesn't want to meet him again. He abandoned her for whatever reasons and it looks like it's staying that way.

Wait... Wasn't Ayu's dad dead? Wasn't Memorial Address dedicated to him, and wasn't that the reason why she cried during Arena Tour? notice the fact that she sung it just after Teddy Bear, another song that is dedicated to him, so it would make sense, wouldn't it?

I think it's 'bout how she always looked up to a person. I dun't see it's her father that she'll looked up to because she said she doesn't have much memories 'bout him. Well... 'Bout her lips created a lie might be because in the past she wanna be the person she always looked up to because of her own foolish self that thin it was to protect. Till today, she didn't find her real self, but nufin' seem to be done she'll live on the present. Walkin' on her life today. :luv2 I love the lyric...

I thought she did? I'm pretty sure I read that he left when she was a "toddler"...which is probably somewhere around 5-ish? Either way, she would have seen him...whether or not she remembers what he looks like, though, is another story.

Also, I thought she didn't even know if he was dead or alive?

A Song for Xx is about her mother and Teddy Bear and Memorial Address are about her father.
