can you buy ayumi [and other j-pop] CD's in Canada??

if you live in toronto, there's a mall called pacific mall in markham and you can get lots of japanese cd's there

my friend in Vancouver saw a bunch of Ayu cds once

ok, is it super expensive there or what? cause I got this friend who comes from toronto.. and she's going back there after new year... thought maybe she could buy some for me :P

well..buying anything from japan(CD/DVD) in toronto IS expensive
the MY STORY album JPN version is about $43 cdn
i duno if you think that is expensive or what..but too me it is..
you can buy that like 2 in asia >.>

I live in Vancouver. There are Asian communities you can go there and shop for Asian CD's (only Japanese, Korean and Chinese).. usually, it is Taiwan or HK versions <- they're 1/2 price cheaper than JPN versions. So yea... it really depends on what major cities your friend is going..

I know it's totally possible to find Ayu's CDs here in Vancouver, I just dont know where. There are plenty of bootlegs in Chinatown or at nightmarket, but I reccommend the easy ol' internet. Delivers it right to your door.

I know there's stores in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal that sell Jpop CDs because of the big asian populations there... But I only been to Toronto once, and have never been shopping, so I cant say much more.

i live in toronto....and yes...there are PLENTY of jpop cds availalbe...including Ayu. As someone said before, Pacific Mall would be the best source. =DD You can also purchase cheaper versoins of them in areas such as Chinatown where u can get them for almost quarter of the rpince =D

oh my! I'm surly gonna tell her to do some research... is there like all kinds of ayumi cd's? remix and regular? *drool*

0.0 I need to get to TO someday soon. >_> Internet takes too much time har har. Anyone know of anyplace in South Ontario? I'ma not looking to travel far, but for the Xmas holidays I'll be going from Windsor (where I live) to Burlington Mall (anyone been there - and can tell me if theres any stores selling Ayu - Utada/Koda as well?), all the way to St. Catharines/Niagara area. ^^; Hope someone knows something - I'd really love to spend my holiday money on something worthwhile. :-D

Also Anyone who has been down the the border area of Windsor - Downtown, I know there is a HUGE Asian population of music stores. If anyone of you have ventured down there (I doubt it... but I have plenty Asian friends to ask) could you pretty please point me in the right direction? I'm not so good walking into a Chinese market... they all stare at me and think I'm lost or something. >_>

They're located in Richmond: There's one in Parker Place, Yaohan and MAL. the prices are 1/2 price from JPN versions bcuz they're the HK and Taiwan versions... do u live in Vancouver?

i thought ayu was going to canada when i read the title of the thread...but i thought that was impossible :)

If u guys trust me I think I can help out in buying the CDs from singapore and send over to you guys.
But of course u'll have to pay for the postage which is about SGD$10(Registered mail) And of course the price of the CDs(Around SGD$20 for albums & SGD$10 for singles).
