Sort of dumb question: How do you pronounce "Crea"?

I just noticed that I've never heard how that name is pronounced. Is it: Cray--ah, Cree-a like in the word "creative", or is it another way?

AyuRlz 8th January 2005 06:37 PM

i feel that it might be pronounced as 'ku-rei'

y2687 8th January 2005 08:23 PM

isn't it ku-re-a?

Tasked 8th January 2005 09:17 PM

Try to find the Honda CREA CMs and listen to the way it is pronounced there. But anyway, it's more like "Cray--ah".

Mirai Noah 8th January 2005 10:57 PM

I always thought it was like "Cray-ah".

clover1215 8th January 2005 10:57 PM

it's ku re a .

lolo66 8th January 2005 11:17 PM

What does it mean though?

Qt Mashi 9th January 2005 01:32 AM

this is confusing me :thud

Yamaguchi_Shogun 9th January 2005 03:26 AM

in Japanese it would be spelt Ku re a, but the would shorten the u on ku to make it sound like kre a

extepan 9th January 2005 06:13 AM

just say it in english, then you wont be confused :D

kinix 9th January 2005 07:10 AM

Ah! I used to have one a long time ago! A friend burned me a disc with all sorts of Ayu stuff, but sadly, I lost it.

CREA 9th January 2005 08:16 AM

It's pronounced "cray-uh". The Japanese for it is "ku re ya".

Crea is the you (formal) conjugation of the verb "to believe" or "to create".

The lady is totally saying ku-ray-uh.

BanFan 9th January 2005 11:22 AM

I always thought it was Ku-Ri-Uh, or Cree-Uh...Like Create.

Chrono 9th January 2005 11:35 AM

I just say Cree-ah. Don't care how the japanese pronounce it. It's the only way it doesn't sound silly to me :shrug

sxesven 9th January 2005 01:13 PM

I thought it was Cray-ah, like Skal pointed out.
