Thoughts on Mika's MUSIC?
 

I thought this album is GREAT. My favorite song on this album would have to be Kumo no Ito and Fed Up. Least fav : Shadows of You, its still a good song though^^. This album really IS amazing though, even better than love. Mika's experimenting with other sounds other than jazz, which is great^^.

I think all the album tracks are great except for "Shadows of you" and the single track are almost perfect, except "Sara" should have replaced "Carrot & whip"...><;

Great album though. I give it a 9.5, only because of the two mentioned above. "Fed up" and "Rocking Horse" would have to be my two favorite on the entire album, two very new styles for Mika. I'm surprised how well she fit with the rock sound in "Fed up" and I love the violin at the end! Amazing album. Go buy it, now! Beautiful album tracks, with very solid singles, and I'm sure the booklet pics will be amazing as well.

One word to sum it all up:Masterpiece 9.5/10 :thumbsup

I'm waiting.. for the Overseas version .. because I'm a broke student :( *cries* Hopefully it comes out a couple days after the Japan Version :P *Is looking forward to hearing Mika's new stuffs* :D

it's so good, i was never expecting it to be THIS good. definately better than LOVE, and that's saying something. This album is just a lot of...new, interesting styles, it's so eclectic, which i really like. It keeps me on my feet. And i also agree on the sara replaced carrot & whip. if not sara, then the third track on onori. onori = love <333 i LOVE rocking horse. it's so cool. and i love kumo no ito too. those are my two favorite tracks, but, really, they are all good. a must buy. i'm waiting for mine to shippppp! :D

I held off from hearing 3 of the new tracks so far, but the ones I have heard have been great. I too would have prefered Sara to be in place of 'Carrot & Whip'. (Not to mention I have the LEGEND single)

Why should it Replace Carrot & Whip? There WAS still space to put Sara, I don't know why they didn't :eviltongu There would be no need to replace any of the songs. There was even space to put Sara+Missing or Tsuki to sabaku alone.
Kumo no Ito is the best new song in my opinion. And hey, "Shadows of you" is not a bad song :eviltongu It was one of the coolest in my opinion, a very beautiful and awesome song.

they would have probably never put on missing, because that would make the entire Hi no Tori single on the album. It's stupid that they just left the original version of Legend out, because that makes people who bought legend very angry, and gives customers who are thinking about getting back singles no reason to get legend. It makes no sense that they didn't put on one of the c/w tracks from Inori, since it was a limited mini album. Oh well, i still love the album, and that's really what's important. And I have Inori anyways... now to get Hi no Tori for missing, and SEVEN for those sexy remixes. <333

I've gotten up to Carrot & Whip so far, and this album IS AMAZING. Even though the first half is really single filled it is SO GOOD! 'Rocking Horse' is really good and so is 'Kumo no Ito' even though when I listened to 'Kumo no Ito' it seemed as if you could sing 'Hi no Tori' to it at some parts. I was expecting more from 'Kumo no Ito' but it is an awesome song nonetheless.
