I met an ayumi fan!
 

Call this as fate, but sometimes gut feelings can really make your day brighten up.

I always thought that ayu fans in Malaysia are underground living creatures, if not, why on earth I can't find one?

Well I was strolling around in KLCC, I walked into the Tower Records on the concourse level for some window shopping. While I'm glad to see that Ayumi's MY STORY is the no.1 best selling Japanese album, I saw a guy standing infront of the sales ranking shelf.

Out of the blue I asked him "Do you listen to JPOP too?" He answered yes, and I went on asked him whether he liked ayu he said he is a big fan!

Man it's like striking a lottery. Well without wasting any time I gave him the address of our forum. It's always good to see one of your kind in the right place, right time.

So anybody here ever had the same experience as mine this evening, care to share?

Hmm theres another big Ayu fan in my Japanese class... we should become friends :)

I don't think my friends really care 'bout Ayu that much anymore .. but last year when 1st year Japanese started, they were dying to listen to new 'stuff,' because they were 'sick' of Utada Hikaru and DAI. They still like 'em, but they want new stuff :P .. However .. my friends still like it when I send 'em some of Ayu's Mp3's. A friend favorite is "Memorial Address." :D

And I've never just met someone like that who likes Ayu. A few friends I already have like her though. One of them once said she heard some guy blaring Ayu out of his car one day in the mall parking lot and I was like, "and you DIDN'T talk to him!?!" Of course, I'd probably be too shy to walk up to some stranger too...

Me and all my friends are big Ayu fans :D Well, I was the 1st fan from our group :P

In the cafeteria there was a guy wearing an MTRL A shirt, and I freaked out. And of course it was the one moment when I left my purse in my classroom, and my purse is covered in Ayu pins, so I couldn't be all, "Hey, you love Ayu!" and he would have been, "Hey, you love Ayu!" and we would have had an awesome awesome Ayu time.
I figure we'll eventually run into each other, and it turns out we're soulmates and we'll get married and have children named Ayumi. Well, the girls anyway.

lol... i never met anyone at all in Tennessee or in Michigan(were I used to live) that is a big ayu fan... the only exception is two of mr friends who i got them into it...

but i never met anyone out of the blue that they where an ayu fan

my two friends that i introduced ayu to them, they arent really big fans... but sumday im gonna meet sum 1 who is a big of an ayu fan as me... im still waiting

The best I've ever gotten is a tiny minority that know who she is from Inuyasha, but that's about it. It'd be cool to meet another fan though!

early this year i met a big Aya fan she told me she's been a fan of her for over 3 years~!

well this is how i met her...
well last year at skool i saw my friend holding Memorial Address and i freaked out and was like OMG!!! AYUMI HAMASAKI!! and she told me it was her friend's CD and told me how her friend has alot of Ayumi stuff as well....and all day i got excited and wondered if i should talk to her or not because i've never talked to her before and yeah it'll be weird to just come up to her and talked to her like that.....

then early this year my good friend became pretty good friends with her, and 1 day she sat with my group at lunch and i was just kept thinking hmmm....and then my good friend showed me an ayupan and i got all excited and said omg who's is it? then that girl said it was hers~ and then i started to talk to her eversince and yeah~~~

we are both glad we met an ayu fan~ and we both appreciate watever ayumi does as well :D she actually joined this forum "Lazytuna"

and i have another friend who i got her into Ayumi she also goes joined this forum "Apprentice"

I have a couple friends I MADE become ayu-fans, but one of them used to be hardcore japanese stuff, but not really into it anymore...but she said she's getting tired of ayumi and wants gackt, lol
