JPOP RECOMMENDATIONS...
I really interested in JPOP more than used to be.
So I wanna ask your opinion in JPOP music. I got some JPOP interests already. First of all is ayu, she makes me really into JPOP. Then I had MISIA, Mika Nakashima, Ken Hirai, Utada Hikaru. So... 01. I was thinking to buy Koda Kumi First Best Thing Album. I haven't really heard her songs b4,just some previews and I thinl It's nice. So what makes me wanna buy is that this is a BEST COLLECTION album, so I could listen to her music back again... what do u think? 02. For Namie, I've listened to her STYLE album n it's quite nice, I'm gonna buy QUEEN OF HIP POP soon...hopefully it'll sounded nice 03. Any other recommendation? |
Try Ai Otsuka. She's awesome <3 If you like fast songs, try Happy Days, SMILY and Sakuranbo. For nice ballads, listen to Daisuki da yo, Kingyo Hanabi and Neko ni Fuusen. You should try Ami Suzuki as well, she has a very nice voice. I really like her song "Hopeful". I recommend you as well Koda Kumi's greatest hits album, it's 2CD+DVD, totally worth the money. It's a great way to discover Koda's ever changing styles. Namie's QoHP is awesome and you won't be disappointed.
|
OIC..I'm Gonna try on Namie n Koda Kumi 1st.
Coz I didn't like Ai's style |
I think STYLE's better than QOHP, but it's just a matter of taste. :P
Recommendations: -Every Little Thing:Every Best Single+3 -Every Little Thing:Every Best Single 2 -Do As Infinity: Do the Best or Do the A-side Those are some typical J-pop starters, but they are both very good bands. :) |
hmm i would say matsu takako
there is a lot of my friends that fall in love with jpop after hear her song i think she is very good and relaxing |
If you like strong vocals, try Ayaka Hirahara! Her song JUPITER is really good. And try Shimatani Hitomi, too!
|
Here are my recommendations:
Utada Hikaru, Tommy February 6, Nanase Aikawa, BoA, Every Little Thing, Hysteric Blue, and Nana Katase |
If u wanna listen to Koda Music listen to ther songs from her Secret album.
For Namie try her "Queen Of Hip Pop" Album. And for others it all depends on the style of Music you like. I reccomend Kotoko and Bonnie Pink. For Mika I say try her Even So album and for Kotoko try her Glass No Kaze album. I can reccomend people for u depending on the style of music you like. Also try Minmi her Miracle album and Hitomi Shimatani. |

Then i recommend "Do as Infinity" Tomiko's voice is so pretty : D Then if you haven't already, try Morning Musume. |
Fayray! Fayray! Fayray!
|
Aiko Kayo! She's super adorable, and has a nice variety of stuff.
|
You seem to be interested in r&b. If that's the case, I'd recommend Yoshika. I've heard the songs she has done with m-flo, and I thought they were amazing.
|
And m-flo's good. IMO you would like all the collaborations they've done especially with Namie and Kumi :) You may also try out their collaboration with EMYLI and Diggy-mo, called DOPAMINE.
|
My favorite j-pop artist is Ayu. But I just discovered hitomi (her artist name is simply "hitomi") which have amazing music. It's a mix of pop and rock. Really amazing. If you want to buy an album of hers, try "thermo plastic" which is amazing or "Self Portrait" instead for her "best" album.
Don't go for Ai Otsuka if you don't like extremely, super squeaky voice. LOL. |
Try Hitomi Shimatani's music. You won't be disappointed. Try Poinsettia if you like ballads, Crossover if you like classical mixed with pop music and Delicious her best album compilation.
|
I would recommend Ai Otsuka and Namie. And Gackt - although he is J-Rock artist officialy, I think his music isn't just rock - its also pop and ska. Try his latest single - TODOKANAI AI TO SHITTEITA NO NI OSAE KIREZU NI AISHITSUZUKETA..
I'll upload it in the Download section. |
^^ Oh boy, that's a loooooooonnng title. LOL!
|
Um is everyone forgetting Rendy made it known that HE OR SHE DOESN'T LIKE AI OTSUKA.
I just say tell me what kinda music you like and I can reccomend what ever |
i would recommend -
CHEMISTRY - nice ballads, some poppish (though not overly) songs, just overall relaxing to listen to. YUI - new artist! only two singles so far (feel my soul, tomorrow's way) but BOTH are very nice. mainly acoustic guitar type songs, but they're awesome! Every Little Thing - i just got into these guys like after what 9 years after their debut? haha but they're still great. guitarish songs, just overall really good. every best single 2 is a nice album ryohei yamamoto - somewhat new (only one album), but he's pretty good (yet so underrated!). very nice soothing voice, and a soul/r&b/pop style. :D hope those help. AND DEFINITELY GET NAMIE'S QUEEN OF HIP-POP! it's an awesome album; i like pretty much every song (esp. "want me, want me" and "no"). :) |
