F.I.R.
 

I was in China over the summer and fell in love. My new love *coughobsessioncough* is F.I.R. I kind of bought the cd on a whim before leaving and didn't actually have a chance to listen to it until I got home, but when I did the amazingness that is Ian, Faye, and Real washed over me. Has anyone else ever heard of them? Is their purpose on this earth not to make perfect music (except for love x3...)? I just noticed that I'm kind of rambling. Sorry about that. Got a bit hot and bothered. Anybody else want to get on the praise bandwagon?

I think they're alright. I only properly started investigating their music after I watched one of their shows in Taiwan, called Fly Away or something. Anyways it got me into 'em a bit and now I try to keep up with them since I hardly listen to music from Taiwan these days. I enjoyed their latest album a lot too :)

To be brutally honest, I not impressed with them other than 2 or 3 songs. (我們的愛 & 刺鳥 in particular)

What puts me off them completely is they have the guts to say "If you haven't heard FIR live, you haven't heard FIR". Only to give a live show with poor live singing afterwards.

i like FIR, but not really into it like you~ i just like max. 4 of their songs, lol

I love F.I.R. Their music is great!!

The reason why I think they make music slightly better than other taiwanese artists is because their music are kind of jpop influenced in my opinion. The guitarist is a d.a.i fan. Some what they remind me abit of d.a.i. But compared to taiwanese idols these days, they're much more outstanding of course. Just that having listen to so many japanese music, theirs isn't too impressive or different to me but to many non-jpop listeners in Singapore, many people think their music are like really special and different. Just my personal opinion.

Good thing I like J-pop then, yeah? I think their backgrounds are a lot more interesting than what other people are putting out.
