I think there probably IS an official cassette (as there are official cassettes of alot of ayu's releases... rody's posted an image of RAINBOW, I've seen A BEST, and you've got A BALLADS), but due to the presence of the EMI sticker, I think this probably isn't it, but a convincing photocopy with all the other right marks on it. The EMI sticker might be a shop mistake, but I don't think this is real. Probably a good indication of what the real one looks like though.

I never saw cassettes before... I never even knew they still made those!

I think they're only mainland china releases since the only ones i've seen have had the red logo on the front like all her official mainland releases do. Anyone from any other countries who's seen them or who owns them, feel free to correct me on that.

i was in china over the summer and i saw several of these, including a tape version for the "&" single. i highly doubt it's real though, b/c (a) it's missing the avex seal and (b) crsc hasn't released a CD ver. of it (they always release both CD and tape versions for everything they distribute).

ooohh you're right, i didn't notice the lack of the avex sticker on the front. And i didn't realize there wasn't a cd of this in china. that's kind of interesting. Thanks for clearing it up, orangeland ^_^

Indonesia still releases cassettes and it's all licensed....and I c you got a UNITE! single....a single....whoa...the single didn't get to be licensed here....u'r lucky!
about if it's a bootleg or not, I have no idea....but it looks very bootlegged to me.... |
