ayu's album doing well in hongkong. take a look.
HMV Hongkong

Ken Hirai is in first place, followed by mika nakashima, then ayu's cd+dvd. even the cd version is at no 20! :yes

And I think it's at either 1 or 2 in Singapore HMV. The last time I saw it (just now at the Citylink store), it was on top of both albums.

Mind you that's just the Japanese/Korean chart. I don't really have an idea how she's faring overall in Singapore.

there are lots of promotion on the albums of ken and mika in HK
Sony has put much efford to promote these 2 album
I always see the advertisement on TV and magazine

for (miss) understood, it has just few advertisement on TV in these few days

she most likely dropped out the int'l chart as her sales in japan have dropped to 25k, n sales in japan make up like 90% of her total worldwide sales. n also, that site that provides the int'l chart only uses japan sales.

last week when i walk past HMV, Ken's no 1, ayu no 2.in singapore, i don't see any cm for ken's album, but his album is still on the top. while, ayu with cm is only at no 2.
the cm for ayu just aren't as mch as last year 'My Story'. there was so many cm even before the album was out. for (m)u, the cm is slower, i remember seeing them one week after the album was out. maybe because music street(the local distributer for avex) was very confident that ayu would sell even without many promotions.

If you're talking about official charts, then I'm sorry but we don't even have one! The authorities here stopped it last year due to a major issue with piracy.

HMV Singapore keeps the different sections (International, Chinese, J-Pop/K-Pop, etc) apart from each other I think. So there isn't really info on an overall performance.

Let's hope that (miss)understood can sell over a million cause it's a great album. It wouldn't be good if (miss)understood is the only studio album from her not to break the million mark. Go Ayu!!!!!!!!!

You know wat!!Two days ago i went to HMV heeren at singapore,and i can't find even one (Miss)understood album!!!even on the chart!!!I think she had sold out all of her album..even my frenz said it too..cuz she said she has many friends who like ayu!same as me!

yea i was jjust in hong kong and ayumi and mika posters were everywhere! every cd shop had those 2 cds, but i had to go to hmv and pay 280 hk$ for adult by tokyo jihen *dies*

No, I was talking about HMV HongKong overall chart. They have one, it's in their website. Ayu didn't chart there.

In Taiwan, this album still stays top 5 in chart and the sales are much better than almost native singers'.
