Your current top 5 CDs

Hey everyone I was just wondering what 5 CDs U can't get enough of currently. Here are mine:

01 (miss)understood - ayumi hamasaki
-I've been listening to this album for the past month and it's still so great! I think its one of her best.

02 The Trinity - Sean Paul
-His lyrics may be lame and silly on most tracks but the beats are HOT! You gotta shake SOMETHING when this CD is on.

03 Kumi Koda - Best ~first things~
-I've just recently got into her music and this was the best place to start. Her songs are good.

04 MISIA GREATEST HITS - MISIA
-The fist time I heard MISIA's voice I became a fan. An excellent collection of songs.

05 PCD - The Pussycat Dolls
-The girls maybe decorations but there's no denying that this is one great pop CD.

01 Franz Ferdinand - Franz Ferdinand
- I don't think I could ever get sick of this cd... it's one of my top favorites, and I love nearly every track on this cd.

02 Shiina Ringo - Shouso Strip
- Once again, I love every song on this cd... and I just love Shiina and her voice.

03 Miyavi - Galyuu
- One of his best albums... Love his loud, screaming songs, and I love his softer, quieter songs ^^

04 Ayumi Hamasaki - MY STORY
- Still one of my favorite albums by Ayumi...

05 t.A.T.u. - Dangerous and Moving
- I liked t.A.T.u. alot before, but their second album is amazing~ They seemed to have matured a bit, but their music still has the same catchy sound... I really like it ^^

I think that's it ^^;

hopeorpain 5th February 2006 07:41 PM

1. (miss) understood- I love the album tracks! And single tracks such as step you, heaven, and pride are good too. A non-stop album for me.
2. LOVECOOK (ai otsuka)- The album is so cute and sad at the same time. I love it from start to finish
3. No Regret (koda kumi)- The title song is so catchy ^_^
4. Love Crazy (Penny Tai)- Such rare Cpop! I love her passion for music=D
5. With U (Cyndi Wang)- Her songs are very sweet and memorable~

Nanako 5th February 2006 08:39 PM

01.Amerie - TOUCH
- Every song on the album is catchy and original. Can't get enough of it.
02.Chris Brown - Chris Brown
- Yep I'm on the "Run It" bandwagon. He is SO cute. And all the songs are good especially "poppin".
03.Jennifer Lopez - Rebirth
- Probably the most generic J.lo CD yet but I just can't help but love it. "I Got You" is my favorite song. "Can't Believe" was horrible, the notes are just WAY out of Jennifer's range.
04.Will Smith - Greatest Hits
- I Luv Big Willie. All the classics are on this CD and it keeps me dancing all night long.
05.SOULHEAD - Oh My Sister
- Probably one of my favorite albums of ALL TIME. SOULHEAD is just so original and all the material on the CD is catchy and well produced.

Mad_Cactuar 5th February 2006 08:44 PM

1. Utada Hikaru- Deep River
What a classic. I listen to it too much. An obsession. A.S.A.P is godly.

2. Gwen Stefani- L.A.M.B
Some might not agree, but I say this is the strongest pop album I have to with currently until I get Rachel Stevens.

3.Shakira- Oral Fixation Vol.2
Ummm... Might we say perfect? But I'm spinning this lesser and lesser these days. :(

4. The Cardigans- Super Extra Gravity
Wow, another overplayed CD at my house. I love love love love love NinaPersson. Their songs rock.

5. Garbage- Bleed Like Me
Awesome rock album, now I'm finally listening to all the tracks without skipping. Except that naff one, track 10 "Why Don't You Come On Over", it just suck.

Indie 5th February 2006 08:58 PM

LOVE JAM - Ai Otsuka
(miss)understood - Ayumi Hamasaki

Franz Ferdinand - Franz Ferdinand
I loved their 2nd album alot more at first, but I can't really decide which one I like more now...

Franz Ferdinand - You Could Have It So Much Better...with Franz Ferdinaind
Probably my current obsession, whatever you call it. Their videos are creative, they dress well, and their cover designs are just brilliant, and they're funny.

Tokyo Jihen - Otona
I prefer it much more than their last, more focused on the songwriting, and a little less on experimenting with just sounds whilst neglecting the songwriting part.

CORE OF SOUL - Natural Beauty
I just love them, they're a fantastic group. Listening to their first album whilst waiting for their latest one to arrive.

And listening to some Belle and Sebastian at the moment, though no particular album since I've only managed to download several random songs.

Ayumi no Yume 5th February 2006 11:55 PM

BEST - Mika Nakashima
12 singles - Kumi Koda
(miss) understood - Ayumi Hamasaki
LOVE COOK - Ai Otsuka

The Decemberists - Picaresque
SPITZ - Mikazuki Rokku
Tsuji Ayano - Cover Girl
Ayumi Hamasaki - (miss) understood

Ayumi Hamasaki - (miss) understood

Ayu's albums are always spinning around my house, but I have a feeling that this will be more than a lot others for a while.

Namie Amuro - Queen of Hip-Pop

From start to finish this album is pure beats and amazing Namie vocals. This is definitely my favorite album by her.

Ami Suzuki - AROUND THE WORLD

Pairing hot electronic beats with Ami's rich and beautiful voice is like introducing Heaven to my ears again. Save for one song (For yourself) this album is perfect from beginning to end.

Daft Punk - Human After All

Gotta love my French robots. :laugh

Madonna - Confessions on a Dancefloor

Madonna will always be the Queen of English Pop as far as I'm concerned. This album is definitely my favorite by her, and is always spinning in my player.

*Note: I only chose albums that I actually own. What stinks is that I bought two today but haven't listened to them yet!

Nu-NRG 6th February 2006 08:33 AM

Franz Ferdinand - Self Titled
I wasn't that impressed at first but the more I listened to it, the more I got addicted to the album. Good stuff!

Justin Lo - Justin
I can't remember when was the last time I love a album this much especially a new artist?

m.o.v.e - GRID
This one is ok, but I thought Boulder was better though.
Still this one rocks!

Within Temptation - Silence Force
OMGWTFBBQ I love this band...I thought Mother Earth was good but this one is alot more better. :D

Wang Lee Hom - Heroes of Earth
DAMN this is probably my current most favorite album, his "chinked-out" style really stoods out this time and with the Chinese opera infuse with hiphop=PWN.

AyuGAME 6th February 2006 11:30 AM

CORE OF SOUL - 3
I really love this cd. The asian musical influences, the pop/rockiness, Fukko's voice, the fantastic arrangements, the freshness, the energy, the relaxation, the anticipation for their Best album. :)

Utada Hikaru - Passion
This song is perfect.

Hajime Chitose - Kataritsugu Koto
I really enjoy the title track of this single, but the coupling tracks (particularly Tsuki o Nusumu) are excellent. It's a very soothing listen.

Lee Jung Hyun - Magic to go to my Star
Mi Chyu is probably my favourite Lee Jung Hyun song, but this album also has a ton of other super-fun tracks. Great, great LJH album. Just Great. I cannot wait for Volume 6! >.<

Bonnie Pink - Let Go
I've been listening to this album a lot lately. The soft, energetic acoustic theme running throughout the album is wonderful. Bonnie's vocals are sweet as always, and this album doesn't really have a companion (unless you count Daisy as an album). I'm taking a break from Golden Tears and REMINISCENCE right now :P.

slashess 7th February 2006 12:51 AM

1. Led Zeppelin - IV This album has to be their very best I've ever heard (don't say you're too cool for it)
2. Nine Inch Nails - The Downward Spiral No matter how many times I've heard it, I still hear new sounds I havent heard before, It's awesome!
3. Utada Hikaru - First Love Her very best indeed. I love how she sings and she's just a really creative artist
4. Stone Temple Pilots - Core Personally I think this is the best CD I've ever had. It brings back a lot of great memories for me and these guys just happen to be my most favorite band
5. Pink Floyd - The Wall Last and not certainly least, The Wall. If you haven't heard this album then you are missing out really bad. One of their very best. (Check out the movie too if you don't mind a little bit of trippy stuff)

**********
These cds are my most favorites and I really enjoy listening to them so please don't criticize me on what I like.
