Japanese PV suggestions
 

Could you recommend to me some Jpop video clips? I want to see something that is unique, innovative, artistic, unusual, or special in some other way.

I'm not interested in soft-porn or gothic/visual things, so please do not suggest anything like that.

I'm don't know if you have already seen this PV before, but I personally love Ai Otsuka's "Shabondama". Beautiful scenery, kinda of a moving clip too. And also, wonderful & sweet song.

the director/producer approaches a different techniques..by using
drawings/clip arts in the pvs....unlike the usualy jpop pvs
always using real objects or CG animation

I say you go for Mika's PV...so many CG amazingness you could expect!!

I second the suggestion of Hitomi Yaida's "CHAIN". "ANDANTE" is also alot of fun and funkiness mixed with some pop art influences.

I want to see Kodoku na Cowboy, I think that's the only YAIKO PV I haven't seen. It looked excellent from what I saw on the YAIKO's selection DVD.

Shiina Ringo's "Mayonaka wa junketsu" is one not to be missed too, that's if you haven't already seen it. Fully animated since she was pregnant at the time, with quite a unique style of drawing about a story of a female espionage with her cat fighting an evil organisation.

I agree. Really moving and deep too.

All the Hikki one's mentioned are good, except Hikari, its just not my type.

I recommend Ai Otsuka's Neko Ni Fuusen for the sheer cuteness and simplicity. Also Kingyo Hanabi if you're into artful PVs.

Hmmm..Shiina Ringo's PVs are usually interesting. Well, at least the two I've seen....which are "Honnou (Instinct)" and "Ringo no Uta".

^well Honnou has soft porn so I don't think it fits what nmskalmn is looking for LOL

May I add in Love Addict and Seppun? Those two are simply stunning :luv2 !
