Well, I do agree that Ayu has BEST SKIN! Skin is a BIG thing in Japan .. believe it or not :)

Did anyone else notice that the people on there don't possess a tan? Guess tans aren't favored there.

i heard japanese ppl prefer whiteness/pale skin..so the whiter you are the better..hence all those whitening products available in asia..it's SUCH a big thing here in hong kong..

The paler you are the better in Japan. It did go through a period from the mid to late 90s where tanning was "in". Now it is completely out.
