ayu "forgiving her past" ??
odd question, but what is it with ayumi and forgiving her past? you come across that very often in lyrics and in the 2004 documentary... It sounds like she did something very bad in her childhood, and she is seeking forgiveness.
but as far as we know she wasn't treated very well by her parents, so why does AYU need to be forgiven?? 2 examples in her lyrics: RAINBOW: "I was forgiven by forgiving many things Including my childhood so long ago" CAROLS: "that i can forgive my past someday...." please?? |
Well, her past wasn't exactly the nicest to her, so I guess she's forgiving it for all that it had caused her.. but I'm not sure.. :[

Well, we don't know EVERYTHING that has gone on in her past. She keeps things private for the most part. There is that period of time between when she left Fukuoka and debuted at Avex. Other than seeing some of the low budget films she acted in, not much is really known about her personally durring that period. So there could be something durring that time that we don't know about, but that is all speculation.
And even if she hadn't really done anything in the past, neglected and abused kids will often blame themselves anyway. But yes, I have often wondered about her need for forgiveness in many of her songs. |
yeah D: she's just a kid in an adults body...gotta lov her
|
She was probably involved in some sketchy stuff. I mean her mother was very lax when she raised her, not even telling her what was right or wrong. She just basically told her. "Figure it out yourself" So she did some stuff she wasn't proud of and regretted, but now...the past is behind her. Since she doesn't like to talk about it, she is probably embarrest. I mean, she's supposed to be a role model to Japanese girls. So she keeps it a secret.

Aren't there like Biographies ALL over the internet that says this stuff?
Yeah. As truehappiness said, her past was pretty bad. Her dad walked out on her, she was an only child, yatta yatta. It was just hard on her; She probably decided to 'forgive' it so that she can move on. I don't think it's anything as others mentioned. |
yeah...i think she has forgive her father that leave her when she still a child
the prove is "no way to say" pv..i have make a long interpretation but i never posted it in thi sforum but it really a prove that she has forgive her past after no way to say she release forgiveness right? and she has reborn after that |
allright then, thanks for the answers.
i knew all this before, i wanted to know if other people know more. ^____^ |
It was rumored she hung out with Bosouzoku (I may have mispelled that) AKA Biker gangs when she was a young teen as well and they aren't exactly the best role models anyone could hope for so perhaps there's something to that as well.

I heard she was hostess too, no wonder she hides it now, she is a an idol model for teenagers
|
Didn't she used to skip school and stuff?
|
Yeah. She was a rebel ;p Can't you tell? :D
|
i think she should try to let everything that hurt on the past so she can move on to the next life..
pity her.. look at her now..she seems so much happier~ *though i don't know her..* |
I don't think she is happy...
I've become to be able to smile even when I feel no fun |

I heard something about the Rainbow album as an album about forgiveness..
|
That was A BALLADS.
The song RAINBOW was a sort of thing with her past and how she was okay with it and she could finally move on.. or something. xD |
LOL I though the biker gangs was just the CMs she made for Art of Fighting 2 whe she was younger (her playing the role of Yuri -Yuri Sakasaki = Ayumi Hamasaki -, being saved by Robert) :laugh

But no, there have always been rumors that at that time she really did hang with biker gangs and work as a hostess. It doesn't seem that implausible to me considering that she was essentially on her own durring this period. No one except those that know Ayumi can say 100% for sure though. |
