I have another 2 questions about Ayu
 

First, Who is that guy? It seems like in a few "behind the scenes/making of" some of Ayu`s PV`s there`s this guy. He`s black and he sounds kinda gay. I think he`s one of Ayu`s make up artist. Anybody know anything about him?

Second, Ayu must know some english. I always thought she didn`t know any at all but in the "behind the scenes/making of" B&D she uses some english phrases. Also, since that guy`s with her, he must be teaching her english. Like I said he seems to be one of her make up artist.

I`m jealous. Anybody who works with Ayu, especially if they`re american, is one lucky person.

btw, her cell phone is freakin` kawaii. I think I saw it in the "behind the scenes/making of " STEP You. I`m not sure.

Ayu might know some english, but not the best. I know she can learn though

She just said 'bye bye see you tomorrow' in the making. she did not go 'bye, i had such an enjoyable time working with you guys, i'd love to work with you again'

and yeah, I don't believe Ayu knows anything more than the basic English, like yes, thank you, good bye, good morning, and more simple phrases. :yes

I, as opposed to the other replies in here, actually think Ayu do speak more than basic phrases of english, she's probably not good at it but I think she could make herself understood if she wanted to. I mainly belive this as she was living in NY for some while during her vocal lessons, and her undying love for the US should, however spoiled (;)) she is at least bring her into some situations where she has to try out English.

I think a better 'term for what the black guy you're talking about is would be stylist, I think he works on both her hairstyle and some of her make-up.

I don't think her cell is particularly pretty, lol, too much bling bling à la Paris Hilton.

The man pertaining to question one was only for the New York shoot. Whether or not he'll ever work with Ayumi again is unlikely. In some ways, it seems that they only hired the Americans so they could be featured in the PV for a "New York" or "American" feel.

As for her English, it's been debated many times. Until she starts speaking in paragraphs, I doubt her proficiency. When the stylist was teasing her singing style, she was laughing too hard, leading me to believe she didn't understand the English he was saying and that she didn't think it was so funny.

About that stylist: I don't like his face. It's misshapen. Sometimes I feel like closing my eyes when he pops up in the making-of or something o_____o [wasn't there an American guy sitting next to Ayu laughing with her?]

I think she thought it was amusing but there's no way she thought it was THAT funny. The way she was laughing, you'd think the guy was a comic genius or something.
