Ayu VS Namie???
 

Anyone know if this is true?

Any kind of rivalry between Namie and Ayu has always been rumor w/ nothing really substantial to back it up. What is known though is that in a recent interview Ayumi complimented Namie.

That whole debate has been in question for quite a while, and I'm not even sure whether I even believe it or not. Tabloids always seem to construct fights and such between celebrities just to cash in so these comments may just be fabrications...

I actually thought it was known to be true that those names they have for each other aren't malicious at all, but more friendly.

Truth or not, hardcore fans tend to buy this and make it as evidence to bash other artist.

Everything written on wikipedia is 100% true and Ayu also has a zoo on top of her private skyscraper. She farms elephants and sells their skin backstage after her performances.

Anyone can edit wikipedia and add whatever.

It doesn't mean that what your read is the ultimate truth, only because you don't know the person that wrote it.

@Raiu-Ayu - Sorry, I was not intending to be offensive at all, I just tried to tell you and everyone that things you read on wikipedia is highly doubtful, because anyone can edit that page and write down what they think about a situation between artists :).

The simple answer is that no one knows for sure.

It's generally not good PR for either of them to openly dislike each other. Neither of them have said that they are friends either. On Music Station specials, you can generally tell if a singer is a fan of another singer if they sing along with a video clip being played or if their body language is positive. I have not noticed this in the past between Ayumi and Namie. On the other hand, I haven't seen them react negatively to each other when they stood next to each other in the past. It seems like a pretty neutral relationship but there is the expected tension due to being in the same line of work.

I just hate when people theorize that Ayumi is the reason Namie doesn't do A-Nation. I'm not sure why she doesn't but I'm sure it's not Ayu. Maybe she just wants more time to spend with her son.

I actually didn't realize until right now that Utada is actually owned by avex, I thought they were on different labels. Silly me.

Now I really find it weird she does not appear on a-nation :|
