Dome Tour A History Book??

I've been wanting to you for the longest how can you obtain this book where is it sold or is it a limited Item ,also where can I find scans if there avaiable

alt.total-loser 9th October 2006 11:09 PM

omg. D: I was going to give you a link to a place that had incredible scans but the site recently went down/changed and they're gone. Sorry. *sigh*

But I think eBay would be a good place to look if you want to buy it.

IYFreak 9th October 2006 11:18 PM

aww man I really wanted to see them

immel 9th October 2006 11:36 PM

Yep, the book is available occassionally on eBay, I saw it several times and a few times I bidded on it but I never ended up finishing any of the auctions in my favour.

Maybe you could try your luck with Track It Down on YesAsia?

IYFreak 10th October 2006 12:16 AM

I wonder how long it will take for them to track it

immel 10th October 2006 12:19 AM

Well, it's not sure that they'll do it, it depends on how many that do it I think, if there's enough people they'll make a try I believe.

It failed with URAAYU Special Edition, they didn't find any. And I think the same thing has happened with History Book in the past.

Your best bet is eBay, and it's probably around the same price.

Yeah, it's a pity that site's gone... the webmistress died awhile back, her boyfriend left the site up for awhile but now the domain goes to a memorial to her.

Maybe someone still has the scans, but the book is mostly text... the rest is all dome tour photos, which are easily found in other magazines. Honestly, the pics weren't all that interesting after having seen the concert itself as well as photos from magazines published that summer.

IYFreak 10th October 2006 12:46 AM

I mostly wanted to see the ones where it talked about the costumes.

Delirium-Zer0 10th October 2006 02:18 AM

My continuing hunt for the scans has paid off! Ayumiss.ru has them here: http://www.ayumiss.ru/dome_tour-2001_hb.php

IYFreak 10th October 2006 02:19 AM

cool thanks

IYFreak 10th October 2006 02:28 AM

That's so sad! I had no idea that happened, she was always so nice when I had emailed her, too...

Back on topic, I actually found a copy of this book at Book-Off for only $15. The condition was great and it made me glad that I didn't pay an insane amount for it when I saw a new copy in Taiwan. As Delirium said, it's mostly text and the pics aren't that special. But if I get the chance, I may decide to scan/photo the pages ayumiss.ru missed out on. But I may not because the spine is thick and I think it'd break if I did scan it.

IYFreak 10th October 2006 03:22 AM

Omg you saw it at Book-off I have a book by me to in NY

HiruNoKaze 10th October 2006 07:22 AM

ZOMG I've never seen an Ayu book at bookoff...

~angel*ayumi~ 10th October 2006 08:05 AM

i think the scans are actually from phoenicia-ra.com as ayumiSS has a lot of scans they don´t own.

As for the missing scans. I plan to scan mine, but this book is very thick and hard to scan/bend and I don´t want to damage it, but lemme try on weekend^^

IYFreak 11th October 2006 12:17 AM

Thats so much

Considering I work in NYC, we're probably talking about the same Book-Off. It was my friend Julie who was poking around and happened to see it. I've only seen the copy I bought, haven't seen any since. You're more likely to see a Gackt PB because items featuring him are the most sought after.
