is Secret getting more Promotion than (miss)understood?
 

I was just wondering since I was in and out during the release of (miss)understood and I see Ayu being on so many TV shows during the secret period so is this album getting more promotion like it being top on pre-order charts and having a high download rate at mu-mo and stuff?

I think so. I've been seeing a lot of promotion this year. And this time it is right before christmas so Avex is trying to promote before christmas to have better sales!

how about Ayu posters being posted around the streets? i can't see any pics of that, or mayb there are but no one is taking pics of it?

There's pictures of Shibuya from 2005 and 2006 posted in this thread, so that you can see how it looks, the amount of posters look about the same.

in terms of number of singles, no. secret has only 2 but m(U) has 4.

I don't think releasing more singles is better advertising though... I think 4 singles (especially double-A sides) is too much

and, Ayu has a tatoo...and she's pole dancing, and...so many little things that cause attention, plus the normal tactics, Secret is getting more promotion.

i Think it was clever to release beforre christmas. THat way it'll get the present sales too, time after cristmas is never a good time for sales...

DEFINITELY...(m)u had more singles out during the year but if you compare all the magazines Ayu's done promoting Secret (it's like one after the other after the other--her gracing the cover doesn't stop! XD) Also, I've generally see much more buzz about it than (m)u.

Theres no promotion on TV, but we have got some posters around here in Singapore

Bah. I wish there were promotions of Ayu in the USA, but that's just me. XD

I honestly don't see why there isn't. Where I currently live (State College, PA) there's commercials for Bollywood stuff. <________< (The India version of Hollywood... Had to ask my roommate. xD)
