English songs?

Me and a friend of mine are discussing wether Ayumi has recorded any english songs or not. I'm saying that she never has but my friend says that you can never be sure of that. He's saying that she maybe has recorded a english song for fun before she became famous. I know that she sang Silent Night with Gackt but that is not what my friend means because that song was never recorded and realesed as a single.

So what do you guys say? Is it possible tha Ayumi may have recorded a song in english?

(Sorry for my english)

She never released a full english songs but you can find english in forgiveness, Real me, Ladies Night, Over, RAINBOW, Heartplace and a little more in some songs.

yeah, she's never recorded a full english song, at least for an album. like slowmoth said though, she sang a couple of english songs live here and there, and she also has a few english lines in some songs, but she's never recorded a full english song on any of her albums. the closest that i would know of is that she sang "i'm dreaming of a white xmas" for a cm and she also sang a disney song for some dvd..."someday my prince will come" i think.

I really doubt she recorded anything in english before she got famous. Ayu didn't learn english in school the way alot of japanese have (it's required in high school, if I remember correctly). So it's possible that many other singers have recorded in english but not released it (most B'z demos, for example, were in english for a long time, then Koshi translated the english lyrics he wrote into japanese later). But in ayu's case I do doubt it since she hadn't learned as much english at age 15 (or 16, 17, 18, or 19) as alot of other singers & songwriters probably have by the same age. Ayu didn't start using any english in her songs until after she'd started learning the language, so I dont' think there's anything she's recorded in english that we haven't heard.

Ayu recorded two songs in english.

1) Someday my prince will come; for the Snow White theme-song
2) White Christmas; for the Suntory commercial

both songs very obviously studio recorded. Apart from those; she also sang a few other english songs live such as "If I can change the world" and a few others on Ayuready?. Those songs, however, we never officialy recorded in the studio for as far as we know.
