Ayu's New Year Message 2006-2007

Like I did last year I listened to the voice right before her countdown (in her CDLive) and this time it's Ayu's voice! And it's in English! She did a good job... there was only a few parts I couldn't truly understand but I got the gist of it :) I can post screen cap of the characters and perhaps masa or someone else could losely translate... I hope when she's saying this she doesn't mean this upcoming year is her last... surely not be her 10th anniversary! Something just struck a cord when she said "I'm always here... yada yada" It's a sweet note and I will try and post screen caps of the message in Japanese and also an audio rip so you guys can hear Ayu's cute Engrish XD... without further ado, here's her note! (I italicized the words I was unsure of)

2006, Our story is about to close
All the pages have been filled.
2007, a new story is about to begin
the pages are white, anything can be written
it’s yours… joys and sorrows
please don’t be afraid of the future.
I’m always here… and I’m always with you
Even alone ((I think she says even alone…, like will be with you even when you are alone??))

In sorrow, remember my songs
They will embrace you
In happiness, sing my songs
Your joys will overflow

In 2007 when there is trouble
The world could be changed
But nobody could take our dreams away
And together we can all leave hate
Right here. Right now.

With Love,
Ayu

the line of even alone, she says like:

(maybe she says even alone), do not be afraid. i will be with you, and i will be next to you

that's all i could really understand, apart from the part you already translated

She really said all that live? or was it pre-recorded?...

It was pre-recorded I believe. They had the big screens playing footage from various things and the translation in Japanese on them.

She also sang Silent Night one Christmas in a duet with Gackt...

Last year was her first year to do the message right before New Years (2005-2006 CDL) but it wasn't her voice that read the message... The previous CDL's were counted down in the middle of a song usually... But yes, this past CDL (2006-2007) was HER first message in English with her voice :)
